Tips on Wearing the Embroidered Trend

Happy Monday Friends

I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We did go to a Dog and Drinks event at Raylen Vineayards and I’ll talk about that more tomorrow. Ive posted my favorite spring dress on the blog below with its delicate embroidery as I fall for this Spring trend. I do remember growing up seeing the Tamburitzans, a Ukrainian Dance company, with intricate embroidered dance outfits and being quite taken with them.

Growing up- I remember the Tamurizans- a Ukranian Dance group and their embroidered outifts.

Im thinking that the delicacy and intricate nature of the embroidered look is what strikes me. This was another dress I picked up from ASOS. Because of the feminine nature of the dress, I decided to add a biker moto jacket to the look for a bit of edge. The pearl Betsey Johsnon sandals brought out the pale pink color, along with the dangling ball drop earrings.

If you are not one to wear shorter dresses, a solution with this dress would be to buy a longer slip dress underneath.  The slip dress would not have to be black, as there are many colors in the dress that you could bring out with this look.  You could also choose to wear a black  lace extender ( and here) if you wanted to add that element to a shorter dress. There are also plenty of longer dress options. Love these- dress, dress

Dress by ASOS. One of my favorite spring dresses. I love the delicate embroidery on this dress. The embroidered sheath is separate, so it can be styled in other ways.

Tunic by Kiki- I paired this with some off white ponte pants. You could pair this top with skinny jeans, a colored slim pant or jean would look great with this as well, just make sure the bottoms are a slim cut so that the outfit is balanced.

If you are wearing embroidery, keep some of the other items worn simple- you don’t have to wear a lot of jewelry as the embroidery keeps the eye entertained 🙂

Yes I definitely agree about embroidery being a good option to pair with something quite bold like leather or denim. I love that style!
