What’s trending now and will always be a classic pairing- A tailored blazer and trouser combination.
Classic Combo- The Camel Blazer with Trousers
Hello friends,
Sharing a classic combo today pairing these two pieces that came as seperates, today on the blog.
Boy, it can be tricky to track down a camel blazer, either it is designer and over my $$$, or it just isn’t right.
I saw this blazer, on Mango, last year and scooped it up. I will often wait for their sales, or visit the Outlet store as well. I wrote about ways to save on Fashion, last Friday on the blog IN THIS POST.
So, before I became sick with Pudendal Neuralgia, I was buying a few items for our Italy trip.
This was one of the outfits I had planned to pair together, in an effort to mix and match both pieces as a kind of capsule travel wardrobe.
The jacket is not overly heavy, and I love the structured look. I found these Zara subtle diamond patterned trousers on Poshmark, and got them for a steal. It was a delightful surprise that they paired so wonderfully. It is a risk on Poshmark, sometimes to buy certain garments without the ability to return. Key here is to ask for measurements and know yours! The pains were my usual size 4, and they fit great. But that is my one tip!
I love the warm and neutral nature of this style today, and paired it with m favorite bag, my Brahmin Melbourne in a yummy Pecan tone.
I planned on walking for hours in these gifted boots from Jambu, from a few years back.
Picking up on the cream in the diamond pattern, I added a cream cami from H&M.
Are you a neutral pallete kind of lady in the colder months, or do you find that now there is so much color out there ( Pantone Institute POST HERE) , you are going for more colorful, mood boosting looks?
Happenings
Well friends. I am not going to say I am tired, but I am . Chronic pain can do that to people. I am doing my best, and always everything I can toward improving with this condition. My weeks are more about doctors appointments these days, and the weekend is a chance to distract and have a bit of fun, whatever the case.
Pelvic floor PT is something I will need for awhile, and I mentioned last Thursday, I had an appointment to get a Pudendal Nerve Block. I have gotten used to being poked and prodded with needles in my therapy, so I wasn’t too worried. My concern was, Would it work?” Early that morning, I was given the nerve block in between the Sacrotuberous ligaments where one area of the nerve inervated. It was over quite quickly, and I had to wait in a room, so they could monitor. They used Buvicaine ( a numbing agent) and a steriod to see if it would calm the nerve. Afterward, I had no numbness, and I didn’t note much of a change after the shot. I was told to give it a week or two, to see if the steriod, “kicks in.”, so we will see. I also see a Uro/Gynecologist Tuesday ( tomorrow) to see about other symptoms i am having and some know more about Pudendal Neuralgia and Pelvic floor Dysfunction than other docs.
Anyway.. if you haven’t dozed off by now, I was able to go out and listen to music, and get some tasty pizza . I alternate between sitting and laying down.
Are you a fan of the suit or the Blazer and trouser look? How might you style it ?

As far as colors, I go back and forth: sometimes brights, sometimes, neutrals, love both!

Posted at 09:29h, 24 OctoberAnother great look, Jess! Isn’t Poshmark awesome? I have two cardigans arriving soon. While I’ve never had pudendal neuralgia – I totally understand how constant pain is so tiring, both physically and mentally. I hope the nerve block kicks in and works!
