23 Feb Turning Heads Linkup- How to Style a Snakeskin Skirt for Different Seasons
Do you have a favorite skirt that you want to wear more than one season? This chiffon snakeskin skirt from Ann Taylor, that I bought years ago, is one I love to style nearly year round.
I’ve styled it here with a bright pink silk top and my pink snakeskin heels.
This look is about neutrals and adding a bit of print to the snakeskin with my LV Damier bag and a leopard scarf.
Styling a Snakeskin Skirt
Before I talk about the skirt, I just recently have had a hankering for a pink sweater. I don’t have enough pink! This pretty and soft blush pink Madewell sweater caught my eye on Poshmark recently. I have been mostly shopping my closet and buying secondhand. I love shopping at Poshmark, but you have to set filters and be in the mood! I wrote a post awhile ago but if you aren’t familiar- Have a read- How to Shop on Poshmark. I need to look at Ebay more often too!
The skirt is a white chiffon with a tan snakeskin pattern, very subtle, unlike some snakeskin patterns I have seen. This skirt acts as a neutral , and with the softer tones, I looked forward to pairing it with pink. Here I am giving a bit of a nod to Spring with this pastel shade.
The taupe Cha boots from Jambu last season went well with this look.
I’ve also included pictures from Spring and Summer where I have styled this skirt. When you buy an article of clothing, think of how it might be styled for different seasons, adding to your closet a more versatile piece.
So, what is going on with you, my friends? I think we had one sunny day out of 9 rainy ones. I on the verge of finishing the Great Alone, and will probably soon start, The Nightingale, by the same author. On the nice day, we took the pups out for a walk on the Greenway, which helps to get some fresh air! My mom goes for her second vaccine shot on the 26th, so I know she’ll feel a bit better.

Posted at 15:31h, 23 FebruaryHello, Jess-such beautiful soft styling. You certainly show how versatile a piece can be and multi seasonal. Every time I see your RM saddle bag, I go off on a hunt but never make the jump-just haven’t found the right one, I guess.

Posted at 10:10h, 23 FebruaryThanks for featuring me. I feel so honored. I like your snakeprint skirt. It has a nice romantic cut. One has to look twice to recognize it’s not a small floral print. Great find! Great styling.

Posted at 09:26h, 23 FebruaryI haven’t paired my snakeskin skirt with pink yet but I really like the combo: need to wear it with my pink sweater before it gets too warm. Then will have to see what short sleeve pink I have!
