We took these pictures before I went for Gallbladder surgery. A few days before. I knew I wanted to share these CHAI booties from Jambu this month, so I prepared to take the pics, knowing I may be down for the count for a few weeks.
Thank you so much friends for your well wishes on my gallbladder surgery. I am recouperating but feeling better at the near 2 week mark. They say it will take some time for the incisions to heal, but I am thankful I got the laprascopic surgery over the open. I’ll tell you, it felt like someone punched me in the gut the first 4 days. Now, I just have to adjust to eating regular food, as “man can not live on soup and frozen yogurt alone!” I do look forward to seeing my surgeon next week, taking baths again, and finding out when I can workout.
Outfit
These gorgeous boots are among my favorite style and I have them in 2 other colors. They also come in whiskey and black. This warm taupe will be a wonderful neutral to wear this Fall, and as always they have the comfort of Jambu behind them. You can wear them all day! I usually order a half size up from my regular size in boots, so I can wear socks. In this case, I ordered an 8.5.
I was in the mood for a neutral palette with my favorite wide leg cropped jeans and taupe velvet blazer I scored thrifting years ago. I love layering and mixing animal prints, so the leopard scarf and snakeskin button down was the right choice.
Jambu’s CHAI boot in Tobacco color, also comes in black and whiskey colors. I love that they are waterproof!
From the website: water-resistant boots and feel the difference the Chai’s memory foam foot bed and premium leather can make. All-terra traction outsoles provide grip for any situation. The leather is gorgeous and knee high boots are very in this Fall, as they were last year. USE CODE EDSF20 on Jambu.com, for 20% OFF until NOV.13th!

October 13, 2020 at 2:57 pmI am so glad you are recovering from the surgery! It sounds like it def. takes some time to recover. One of the mom’s in Autumn’s dance class just had it done and she said she was in a lot of pain the first week. Those boots are so pretty with this fall outfit and I love the color of them. I really like that jacket layered on top of your blouse, too! Lots of warm brown shades and love it!

October 13, 2020 at 3:02 amI am so glad you’re feeling better! Your outfit is a lovely palette on you. The jacket is really adorable, and in a shade of brown I don’t see much. I have avoided browns for some time as I found to be muddy and dull. But the recent offerings are rich and lovely. So I am having to rethink my stance on brown in my wardrobe.
