20 Nov New Jeans I Love -Casual Fall Look

Hello Ladies!

It’s Thanksgiving week and I always get excited for this time of year. Not because I am a good cook ( hubby’s dept) but because I enjoy getting together with my family and beginning to decorate for the Season. My sister and her family will be coming to our house this year. Not to mention, I am a new Aunt! My brother and his wife, just had a baby..Aedan Hunter. So excited for them! He looks like a “Mini-Me’ of my brother and tiny! So, with all of these fun Holiday activities that we may be attending, I have been wanting to find some jeans that I love to wear, for more casual looks.

I mentioned yesterday we went to Daniel Stowe Botanical garden, had some hot cocoa, and enjoyed a horse and carriage ride with my sister and niece. A little boy stood beside me telling me that he was going to sit in the front. I told him, without cracking a smile, I was going to sit on the horse! He looked a bit perplexed, but I had enough fun and told him I was joking. His parents laughed. We had a good time.

Back in college, I wore skirts and dresses more than jeans. Now, as a Fashion blogger, I have been listening and reading about these Wit and Wisdom jeans that several ladies have worn and look great in. I do have leg sensitivity and I can’t wear anything tight! I just never liked tight jeans. I certainly think you can wear jeans and have them fit great without fear of ripping them up the back as you sit down! or have the “painted on” jean look. I have always looked for soft denim with some stretch for movement, and jeans that keep their shape. It just isn’t fun to keep pulling them up or having to wear a belt because they don’t fit properly.

SO… needless to say, I bought these jeans from the Wit and Wisdom line on Nordstrom. I wanted a dark denim, as i like that i can dress them up for an evening out. These are The. Softest. Jeans. Ever. I know my hubby loves it when i go up to him and have him “pet the clothes” saying, feel this, feel this! The style also has the split hem, which I loved too for a modern, fun look. We love showing off our shoes, right?  They are very soft and fit just right. I did size down, so you know if you decide to try them.

I have wanted to pair it with this spice colored suede moto jacket from Nordstrom for the previous NSale. It took some doing, as this jacket went out of stock in a small over and again, and i had to have patience! You saw me wear it with my dress from Joan Vass last week. So, I decided to pair it with this  mustard and rust toned top and added additional color with my olive booties and plum colored leather satchel. I think this may be my oldest top in my closet 😉
