Hi friends!
It has been a challenging few weeks, but I feel better and am glad to bring you this maxi dress look today. I bought this dress a few months ago and couldn’t wait to wear it!

We went out a bit on Saturday to our local vineyard about 30 minutes away. We took my mom and it was nice to feel semi-“normal” doing something we would have enjoyed anyhow. The tables were far apart in the spacious yard, and music played from Van Morrison to Neil Young, as a guitar and harp duo played. We kept social distancing, brought a picnic, and had a bottle of wine as we sat outside just enjoying the music . It was a much needed afternoon, as most of these months have been spend only going back and forth to the grocery store.

Outfit

I’ve had this dress for a few months, as I kept an eye on it to go on sale. When it did, I snagged it!

I have been eyeing pieces in lilac and I am still on the hunt for a blouse in this shade.

I bought this on Mango, as we had planned to do a family photoshoot at the beach this summer. That has been put on hold until next year.

So, I thought, why not wear it now. I am also thinking, why wait for a special occasion or an event, time to wear what I bought now.

I had a month or so of wearing loungewear and robes, and now it is time for some “real” clothes. 🙂

The pretty lilac and green halter dress is a light chiffon and my white sandals are the perfect strappy look with this summery dress.

White accents with the strappy sandals, Kendra Scott mother of pearl earrings and bucket bag complete the look.
