You know I often wear warm tones beginning in the Fall into Winter. Today, I am sharing a cooler tone ( grey) with a warmer pink tone. Greis a wonderful neutral that you can pair with nearly every color, and will work for the ladies that have a cooler complexion and grey hair/silver/white hair. It still works with my coloring, as I paired it with some warmer tones from the scarf near my face.
Don’t think pink is only for Spring!
Pink and Grey are one of my favorite color combinations. This moto jacket is a bit more of a rose color instead of a pastel pink and I love that it adds a bit of brightness to the grey days we have in the Winter. I could picture this with a pair of cream trousers and blouse, for a Winter white look with the addition of the pop of pink in the jacket. Cream trousers are on my list for next year.
Today I styled this c/o gifted ( last yr) grey sweater dress from Soft Surroundings. I love the more fitted shape, but more that it glides over the body as opposed to being tight. This girl doesn’t do tight anything! I want things to fit well and be comfortable at the same time.
Moto jackets are my jam and this one will see its way into Spring as well!
If you don’t have a sweater dress, consider one. They really are very comfortable, warm, and can be styled in a casual and dressy manner.
If you are a grey, white or silver haired lady, this is another color combination that would look sensational too!
Weekend Happenings- Pup patrrol
Well, ive been couped up this week mostly, as my hubby who usually works remotely had to be on site all week. I was home with the pups and between working on the blog and around the house, I played with the pups.
Truffles will be 11, and she acts like a puppy in many ways. She received this stuffed sheep at Christmas and hasn’t left it alone since! Its funny though as it sounds like a rooster- more bird than sheep! I’ll throw it back and forth, and it looks like its been through the ringer, more Baa Baa Black Sheep, than White sheep!
Gibby, 8, is happiest being next to me, and only has a fondness for squeeky balls. BUT, he does love the strangest things! Like a baby who plays with pots and pans over the toys that are bought, Gibby has a fascination with the hair bun things.. you know the donuts used to create hair buns, well I would roll it back and forth in the kitchen to his delight! He also loves bathtub loofas!
I wish I could be just as happy and content with as little as it takes my pups!
