Whew. We got through Winter.
I’m sharing my love for florals this Spring, with this feminine, maxi floral dress from H&M.
First, this week has been about styling florals. I posted yesterday a casual look for Spring wearing a floral blouse. HAVE A READ.
I bought this beautiful floral print dress last year and have been waiting to bring in out of my closet!
My eye tends to go toward larger floral patterns such as this, and the colors are so soft and beautiful I could not resist. This dress, last year, sold out fast. I do love the print so much I have it in a blouse as well.
Tie styles are very popular with dresses right now, with any length showing this feature. This maxi would also work quite well with slip on flats in the early summer, but I now get excited to switch over to my espadrilles. This blush pink sandal c/o Andre Assous a few years ago, goes with much in my closet, it really is a neutral shade because of the shade’s lightness.
Since there was a chill in the air the day we took these, I styled it with my favorite pink moto jacket, adding another touch of femininity to the look. A jean jacket or long cardign in olive or another neutral shade could work quite well too.
I had to show you the dress without the jacket, as the sleeves are voluminous and dramatic. I love it!
The dress would also be great for a midseason transition with tall boots
I have found some floral dresses for you to peruse in the links below.

What’s Goin on?
We’ve been having some good days here, a bit warmer than it has been . This past weekend we went to a brewery, sat outside, and enjoyed drinks and Middle Eastern Food from the food truck,. My dad, an Irishman, was the first to introduce me to Falafel, and I have been a big fan ever since!
Just some of the small things in life had me thinking yesterday. My neighbor has a Weimariner named Tua, and boy, did we have fun! He couldn’t wait to run in the backyard, and I was happy to accommodate! We did laps back and forth and he could have lasted longer than I, although he was ready to go inside. I just have a bond with dogs, and they make me happy.
My mom has had all her vaccinations, and my hubby and I have been vaccinated once. April 8th we have the second Phizer shot. It will be a bit of a relief when we are completely vaccinated.
I have started working in the garden and went to our local nursery. I am looking for some colorful flowers to plant around our deck.
