Hello friends!
I hope you had a great weekend. Most of what I styled for today is from my closet, with the exception of my “pumpkin Spice” duster I bought at Target. I added this Fall layer to bring out this popular shade within my paisley dress.
Pumpkin Spice
Pumpkin Spice is oh so nice! and yes, we bought the coffee beans to prove it 🙂
You know we love it, that creamy, spicy flavor that we can’t wait to drink showing that first sign of Fall.
Here though, it was a beautiful shade that caught my eye as my niece and I was browsing at Target. She told me I wasn’t allowed to buy any more rust, and I told her that this was pumpkin color, so I won! 🙂
I am sure I will be styling this piece many times throughout the next Season.
Speaking of pumpkin, I am challenging my husband to a “pumpkin” contest. We each have to get a medium-sized pumpkin for the front entrance and carve them to look like Gibby and Truffy faces. ( our Shih tzus) He creates Truffles, I create Gibby!
My Outfit
You all know by now Fall is my jam, my love, my Fashion favorite season! The rich colors always get me excited for looking to my closet. Today, most everything was from my closet, but the Target duster. Target has some wonderful pieces for Fall.I love the New Day and Prologue lines.
This pumpkin color amongst the burgundy, olive, brown tones in this paisley dress pops in the pattern. I wanted to make it stand out even more with this long duster. A piece like this can be worn many ways- over dresses, worn with jeans and a cami, or a sleeveless shell. This particular duster is thin as well, so it’s perfect for early Fall in the Carolinas.
Croc texture is also popular this year, and I am wearing a pair of burgundy booties by Zara.
Are you a fan of “Pumpkin”? How might you style this duster?

September 19, 2019 at 5:35 pmI love all things pumpkin, including the color! And I’m with you … the colors of autumn are just the best (they’ve always worked best with my coloring, which may have something to do with my favoritism here). That duster is terrific. I think I’ll keep an eye out for something similar next time I’m at Target. Thanks for the great fashion ideas, Jess!

September 18, 2019 at 2:26 pmI love the long cardigan, the colour is beautiful and perfect for Autumn. It looks lovely with the paisley dress and burgundy boots. I’m looking to add some warm shades to my wardrobe – rust, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger…I’m amazed I don’t have that much given the amount of clothes I have! Thanks for hosting and linking up! Hope you have a great rest of the week!

September 17, 2019 at 9:21 amI’m also a huge fan of all things Fall, especially the colors. Pumpkin spice as a color is often underrated but so lovely this time of year. Your use of this autumnal shade is fabulous. I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the carving contest. 🎃
