05 May Turning Heads Linkup -Romantic Pink Floral Blouse with White Denim Skirt

Good Morning!

This chiffon pink floral just spells romance to me. I added it to my closet after seeing it online.   Florals will always be big for Spring and this year is no exception!

An Otterly Silly Story

What can I say? Are you over watching Ozark? Have you binged enough shows on Netflix? I think I was at this point this weekend, when I spent over an hour watching videos on You Tube. Usually I will watch makeup or fashion videos, but my mind required something that would make me laugh and smile. Something different. So I spent about 2 hours over the weekend watching baby otters and also Cockatoo and parrot videos. Did you know baby otters have fur that is bouyant, so that they stay afloat and mom doesn’t lose track of them? Did you know they make  cute as can be baby sounds as they munch on fish? I am not for people having animals that belong in a sanctuary or the wild as pets, but I did watch this little guy and the “nyam-nyam” sounds he made when eating were so cute!

Cockatoos and parrots are just cool birds. I love to watch them sing and especially dance. I don’t know why, but I have been kind of obsessed with these birds lately. Maybe I need just someone to talk to…. haha! Watch this one dancing to Pharell and these birds head banging to Guns and Roses!

Outfit

My hubby thinks I have an eye for floral patterns 🙂 I spotted this pale pink romantic floral chiffon blouse on H&M and knew it had to come to mama! I loved the colors and the larger print. I loved it so much I bought a dress in the same print, and both items are no longer on the website. I hoped to link it for you, but instead have linked a similar blouse, since this is no longer available. They sold out fast!

The white denim skirt is something I had been looking for and I would come across many that were too short, or too pricey. There were also skirts with too much distressing. So when I came across this white denim skirt, at the same time I bought my camo skirt, I bought it as well. Both were on sale, as much is during this time. I loved the clean look and that it hits at about the knee, making it perfect for me.
