Turning Heads Linkup -Soft Surroundings – Gianetta Top Styled with Denim

The embroidery on this boho style top, The Gianetta Top, from Soft Surroundings, is a stunning combination of rust, cobalt and teal-ish green color.

Soft Surroundings Gianetta Top Styled

I love the colors in this top! I saw it on the website as I was looking through Soft Surroundings earlier and it’s vibrant colors and embroidery caught my attention.  Then I saw it on Kellyann, and that solidified just how pretty the top was! I knew the colors would suit me and I am very picky about my tops, so I was thrilled when Soft Surroundings gifted me several items from their Spring collection, this being one.

Yesterday, I shared my leggings outfit, the leggings gifted by Soft Surroundings as well, in a print that caught my eye. Read my post about styling their Superslim Rosa Rose leggings HERE.

A pretty top and skinny jeans is always a great combination, and I decided with the flowy boho style of the blouse, and the embroidered style , a pair of medium wash skinny jeans would do nicely. I am wearing one of my favorite pairs, the Rockstar jean from Old Navy.

My Marc Fisher western styled booties would go very well with the rust shade in the blouse.

The top also comes with a cami, as it is quite sheer. The tassles in a burnt rust go with this carefree style.

What’s Goin On?

I talked about some of my New Year’s Goals HERE in this post-and am happy to say that I am off 2 of my pain medications and have lessened my medication by 50% from 12 years ago. It has been a long journey, but I am making some strides. I have always been proactive with my  health, and always need answers. It’s important to advocate for yourself! Speaking of health, my mom got her second vaccine shot, so I am happy about that! I know she will feel a bit more comfortable.

I have been reaching some of my goals with fitness- building more of my home gym, using my treadmill 5 days a week, and building endurance! I feel quite good being able to lift weights again, when I used to lift heavy weights, and had to quit a number of years due to my EDS.

We have had a few days of nice weather and al fresco meals, which is wonderful, and we are looking forward to the Spring months to start hitting the parks and Vineyards nearby.

The top is just stunning, Jess! And I love the way you’ve styled it. I’m so glad you’re having good luck weaning away from the pain meds and meeting your fitness goals. I’ll be working on some fitness goals myself after having 2 weeks straight of feeling good (although, I don’t know why). We just purchased electric bikes, which allows for engine assist when you’re pedaling. A good way to ease back in I think – I hope.
