This is look number two from Soft Surroundings. If you missed a neutral look I put together from Soft Surroundings yesterday, read it here. I have been enjoying wearing neutrals, florals, and have now today, styled this light blue silk tunic with white denim.

My outfit

I chose this beautiful silk tunic, the Adele Silk Tunic in baby blue, as I loved the light airy look, and its a color I don’t have much of in my closet. I love the lower hem in the back and the flowy style. I do love the contrast between the soft pastel blue and white embroidery. This is as light as a feather and who could pass up silk? Soft Surroundings describes this tunic as “relaxed elegance”. I love that! You can be comfortable and elegant!

I instantly saw this with white- either white jeans or trousers, or light wash skinny jean. I am wearing my Loft skinny jeans and paired it with my floral block heels, from Soft Surroundings. ( last yr). They are now at Soft Surroundings Outlet on-line and on-sale! So go for it!

I love a mix of texture with the white flowers of the shoes and my Brahmin bag in periwinkle or lavender, not quite sure of the shade or model. I do know that it is very roomy and I bought it new on Ebay years ago.  I have had this bag for years and it is another pastel shade I added to compliment the look.

I often like to wear silver jewelry with blue tones, so I chose a pair of silver earrings and a larimar cuff I received a few years ago. Read the post  HERE.

So, here we are, traipsing around the nature trail we have in the back of our house as the handsome tree provided much shade needed for our pictures. This trail has gotten flooded many times due to the excessive rain we’ve had this Spring. Now, onwards and upwards, as we have been getting sunshine and warm days. Do you take advantage of your surroundings for blog photos?

    That silk tunic is just gorgeous Jess! It looks so luxurious and must feel like a dream on. It is perfect with your white denim and speaking of perfect – that Brahmin bag! It could not be a better color for this outfit.
    Wish we had a pretty area behind our house for pics. We have an area in the neighborhood I should really check out but I always seem to be in a rush to get photos done. Good reminder that I need to slow down and take time!
