Turning Heads Tuesday- A New Fall Dress

Its back to being pretty warm here in NC, we enjoyed a few cool days last week I love a Fall midi dress to with these Fall leaves print to get me in the mood.

Outfit

I have several BLANKNYC suede moto jackets that will go perfectly with this dress- in caramel and burgundy! I’ll have to switch off.

The Mango dress caught my eye last year with its Fall leaves patterns and colors. The dress is also quite feminine with its flowy hem

and chiffon material.

With this longer dress I love the addition of long boots, these Jambu Chai boots have been a Fall staple and continues the long leg line.

This pretty dress is still lightweight and perfect for a transition when you get excited about the next season.

We were near one of our favorite haunts, Cork and Cask, but they have little outdoor seating, so we stuck with just doing the photoshoot in the nearby area.

Heck of a Weekend

I had a ” attack” last week, when I didn’t know what it was. Lots of pain in the abdomen and referred pain to the upper chest. I went to the ER Sunday. Short story- I have gallstones. Don’t know how? I eat healthy and have a healthy lifestyle, but Mom and Dad had to get their gallbladder removed, so maybe its hereditary. Thanks alot! ( kidding, kidding) There are just some things in life, with our health, that is out of our control. I am working on setting up surgery soon to be out of pain.

Looks like wine and vineyards are out for a bit!

I mentioned if i dont post for a week or so, you will know why.

I have been enjoying an Foreign show ( Icelandic) on NETFLIX called-CASE as well as a “Nordic Noir” on Acorn TV called, Wisting, named after the main detective. I can’t get enough murder mysteries!

Outfit

Mango dress- last year

Boots- Chai Boots c/o Jambu

Bag- Rebecca MInkoff ( old)

I am back. Have never shopped Mango before but I am over there now, online, looking at their beautiful dresses. Do their things fit pretty true to size? Just in love with this look of yours and hoping that dress might still be available!!

That is the perfect fall dress. Perfect fit, colors, length, styling. So many pretty details in the leaves, with the curly cues and the background print. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I would imagine you turn heads and practically break the necks of everyone who sees you in it.

And I am SO sorry to hear about your incident. I do think these things are hereditary. You are doing everything right, but sometimes it just doesn’t matter. Take good care, Jess.

Jess, this is such a pretty dress. You look fabulous and it will look perfect with a jacket or even a long cardigan. I hope you get your gallstone issue resolved asap. I have had that pain in the past. I started taking beet root and they seemed to make a difference. I still get uncomfortable if I eat too much food that is high fat. Hope you feel better and if you have surgery, I hope and pray it will go smoothly. Hugs! – Amy

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been poorly Jess! I’ve heard people say gallbladder pain is worse than childbirth! My sister-in-law had to have hers removed, as did her mum and sister so I’m guessing it is hereditary. I hope you get the surgery soon. I love your dress, it’s perfect for this time of year with the beautiful autumnal print. Your bag is gorgeous – I just bought one in that colour on eBay. Thanks for linking up!

Love this dress on you, and the accessories you paired with it! I hope you feel better soon. I know that I’ve had several clients that have had gall stones and they usually get attacks from eating too much fats, even healthy ones.

How pretty, I love the falling leaves on the dress. You inspired me to pull the trigger on buying a dress recently. It’s a summer one, but I think I can nudge it into fall for awhile ;).

I had to have my gallbladder removed and I remember when I was being wheeled into the operating room all the staff was shocked when they saw how thin I was. They said they usually treat overweight people. Thin people can get gallstones from severe dieting…as was my case. I love your dress! It’s perfect for fall!

Jess, this dress is absolutely stunning! I love the colors on you. The print is gorgeous for fall and the silhouette is so good for all sorts of versatile styling. It has cooled off substantially here, but I think we have a few warm days coming back as well. I do hope you can get in for that surgery soon, my friend! Sending you lots of positive thoughts and energy for quick recovery!
