08 Dec Turning Heads Tuesday- Leopard Dress for Any Season
Leopard is timeless and fun to wear in any season.
Hi friends, I hope you are having a good start to your week, with the Holidays not far off.
I’ll be bringing you Holiday fashion next week on the blog, with some sparkle and colors for the Day.
You certainly could pair a red or green cardigan with this leopard maxi dress if you wanted to wear it during the Holidays, but it isn’t necessary to be so literal.
Perhaps a bit of sparkle at the ears, the addition of a red bag, or a faux fur collar would add some pizzazz.
I’ve styled my nails in a pine green color for the season as well.
Holiday Stuff
Each day I feel like I have to mentally tell myself what day it is, as they seem to blend in to one another these days.
I have been posting our floor, our decor and such on Instagram Stories if you want to check that out. I know some people wonder who they are decorating for, as it won’t quite be the same this year. Do it for yourself! Get into the Spirit. Make yourself joyful.
I typically will decorate the inside, with my Santa’s table, ( my figurines), mantle, kitchen table, and by the fireplace. Hubby builds the tree and I enjoy the fireplace while listening to classic carols. My mom is partaking in the tree decorating this year, and it will be fun to show her our large collection of ornaments.
Decorating the tree, looking at the ornaments as memories, are part of the joy of the Holidays for me. That hasn’t changed. We certainly need to lift our spirits these days in any way we can.
Speaking of Spirits.….( like that segway).. I have for the past several years been making a Christmas Cocktail for us. I found on Pintrest this recipe for a Cranberry Martini, that sounded just right for the season, and easy!

Posted at 15:53h, 11 DecemberAlways perfection. I really like that bag, too. The ruffles on it are a great complement to the chunky hardware. Super cute.
I hear you about the decorating…we have to do it for ourselves. I woke up Monday thinking I would not put up a tree or bother
to decorate. But after my devotional time, I had a change of heart. My why bother attitude disappeared. And I am so glad
it did.

Posted at 22:31h, 09 DecemberI too am decorating as if life was normal, even though no-one will see anything in person. It is a small piece of normal to keep us smiling. And what a great dress

Posted at 09:13h, 08 DecemberLove this leopard print dress with the pumpkin cardigan for fall! You are so right, leopard is a classic and works like a neutral. It looks great paired with so many colors and in any season. I understand your feeling that the days are hard to separate and time and schedule seem to be a jumble during Covid. Putting up the Christmas decorations and having a little extra sparkle around the house helps. Hope you have a good week!

Posted at 06:41h, 08 DecemberJess, this dress is so great! I love it paired with the long cardigan. You have given me some serious style inspiration for my maxi dresses for fall and winter! I also am still in this time warp with all the days blending together. If not for the kids going to school two days a week, I don’t think I would ever know what day of the week it was! That cranberry martini sounds amazing! Happy Tuesday, my friend!

Posted at 05:21h, 08 DecemberYou are so right Jess! We have to decorate and celebrate for ourselves, not others. As much time as we’re spending at home it should be a place of joy!
Your cranberry martini sounds festive and fun.
