Hello Ladies!

You all know that I love red wine. I don’t think of myself as a wine snob, but just a woman with a certain particular palette for wine. I am picky! We all know that red wine has antioxidants that are good for us, and I am reviewing today a luxury skin care line that contacted me, called VineVera.

This is a luxury skin care which has each line named after a particular red wine. There is the Chianti line, the Merlot, the Pinot Noir line with collagen( what I chose) and many others, offering different benefits and tailored to what skin care needs you have. I am reviewing the Pinot Nior line, which just so happens to be one of my favorite red wines as well. When I was contacted, it was like fate intervened, or lets say great timing. I was actually researching a day cream for myself, as I believe one needs to take care of one’s skin early on, and I had been looking. I do have to say, I have a hard time choosing skin care products as I have found some to be heavy, with no results, or too much moisture where it makes my face feel like the wetness is just sitting on top of my skin. There is some skepticism when finding a product, as they all claim the “fountain of youth” results.

I received the two products, the Vine-vera Resveratrol Phyto-Silk , which has anti-aging benefits, with resveratrol being a wonderful antioxidant, and collagen helping use restore a youthful look  What I do like about each of these products is that they contain Resveratrol, an antioxidant found in the red skin of the grape that can help with signs of aging. The first line of the description for the face cream  is such:”this light-weight serum will leave your skin feeling silky smooth.” I do agree with this, as I mention it is lightweight and does not leave any residue or heavy feeling. One thing I certainly liked about it from the start.

Another statement from the description:” Sodium Hyaluronate and Resveratrol provides your skin with a younger look. Peptides offer your skin an array of benefits, such as, stimulating the deeper layers of your skin to aid the skin in healing itself. Results show that this increases smoothness and collagen synthesis giving you the sought after appearance of younger skin.”  I have been using the phyto-silk for about 2 weeks and do notice a smoothness, however feel I would have to do an update in 2-3 months to be able to give you, the viewers, the ability to tell whether my skin looked younger looking. I do think as a result of this time, my skin is smoother, particularly the lines on my forehead. I have noticed since the skin is smoother there, the lines have softened In addition,there  is satisfaction in the consistency of the product. I will do another post in that amount of time to be able to discern more.

I received the Vine-Vera Resveratrol Pinot Noir Phyto-Silk creme HERE and the first thing I noticed was that I need only use it once a week. When putting a dab on my cheeks, forehead and, I also loved the fact that it was quick to absorb, soft  and light with a nice smell. I have tried some cremes before that were very heavy or left moisture on your face, like it was not fully rubbed in. This was not the case The Phyto-Silk went on easily, and absorbed easily with no greasiness or wet application. The benefits are wonderful as well.I am writing this after almost 2 weeks of using it, and I am happy with the tone of my skin . My skin seems  smoother in texture, as I do have normal to dry skin, so I have a need for added moisture.

As a result, it helps maintain the skins health and elasticity while preventing new wrinkles and reducing the appearance of existing ones.Resveratrol contains antioxidants that will eliminate the free radicals responsible for the appearance of wrinkles and is a key ingredient in all our skin care products.”

When using the Pinot Nior Longevity Serum, I put this on, after the Pinot Noir Phyto-Silk. I really started getting into my skin care in my 30s, and think that the earlier the better, in regards to taking care of one’s skin. The website states ” This unique formula was created to maintain your skin’s natural youthful glow and restore radiance. Formulated with a variety of vitamins in combination with Resveratrol, this light yet effective serum will help diminish signs of aging. I noticed, again this was a light formula, which blended into my skin with ease. I am not sure if I noticed radiance this early on, but certainly can use help in this area. I am one to gravitate, certainly in the past, to skin care which says it “illuminates” or “radiates”, as those are two particular buzz words I am fond of. I do like the product’s contents, but have not noticed a reduction quite yet in a reduction of wrinkles. My skin feels a bit more toned, moisturized and well nourished. Time will tell when I do an update, to give you more of the effects of the Longevity Serum. Although I feel genetics, diet, environment, play a role in one’s skin, having the right ingredients in one’s skin care is quite important.

I am the type that likes to read the science behind things. With this Vine-Vera skin care, you can read about the science behind the ingredients in the products and learn more about how they work. I do like this about the company.Research is important to me when I am putting creams on serums on my face. I do feel that I need some more time to notice the benefits of the product, since the cream I am only using once a week. I am happy with the results so far, and would recommend Vine-Vera to friends and my readers as well.
