30 Nov Warm and Cozy Holiday Gift Guide

Happy Friday and almost December! Well, this week I got some wrapping done, presents are all bought, and I am making up puppy gift bags for all of my sibling’s pets . One of the things I enjoy is being cozy and warm this time of year, whether it is thick and comfy robe, fuzzy slippers or flannel pjs. My dad had a fleece blanket that I have now, that is the Coveted Blanket in the house. My pups head straight for it in the morning, along by the fireplace. I’ve put together a gift guide for those on your list, who love to be cozy and comfy this time of year.

The Weekend

We are headed to go to Christmas in Davidson tonight, which is a community Christmas celebration with horse and buggy, live Nativities music, hot cocoa and enjoying the Season. When I taught at the local private school, I would prepare my elementary music students to perform there. I can’t tell you how many times we would practice singing, Sleigh Ride, Christmas TIme is Here,  The Grinch and other Holiday favorites.

I’ll be decorating the tree as well this week and the mantel for indoor decor. I love decorating the garland down the bannister with berries and lights.

I’ve wrapped almost all of my gifts, and started writing out cards. I just so enjoy getting out the ornaments this time of year, as my hubby and I find ornaments for each other, as a tradition that mean something we have done for the year. Our tree is full and full of memories.

Gift Guide

I won’t inundate you with gift guides this year, but I will be writing a few for some easier shopping if you choose. I did all of my shopping on-line, and my hubby was quite impressed when we went into Nordstrom for my YSL foundation the other day and were there for a grand total of 30 minutes! I am just not a mall shopper anymore. I shop in stores like a guy! Go in for what I am buying and out. I think I expended all of my mall hours when I was a teenager.

So, for the sake of this gift guide, I have found affiliate links for you that I love in the warm and cozy department! These links may earn a small commission for the blog, at no cost to you  I am thinking of asking for a pair of Ugg slippers myself, they look so warm and toasty. I have bought a fleece pullover after seeing one on another blogger, and listed it in the guide. So thick and plush! My husband knows that I love a cozy robe and am a fan of Carol Hockman, as well as PJ Savage for cute and comfy pjs. I bought a pair last year, and they were called, Best in Show and had puppies all over; I couldn’t resist!

To me, there is nothing like being cozy with my little pup Gibson, who loves to lay on my lap, by the fire… ( or anywhere I go!) He and Truffles love to get cozy in our bed too, as the weather gets chillier. No robe or pj set, will ever replace that kind of love and coziness! Give me a large mug with hot cocoa, a nice robe and slippers, sitting by the fire with my hunny and pups  and I am a happy girl 🙂
