I don’t believe in more is more, but some fashion accessories. can make a look even in the summer months.

What Accessories I Recommend for the Summer

Acessories can certainly change a look, easily from casual to dressy, but how about choosing accessories for the summer  months.

Summer Sunglasses

The summer sunglasses are one of the top accessories I reach for. Even when it is cloudy, the sun is there, and you need to protect your eyes. I’ve had these Prada sunglasses for a few years, and I love the oversized look with these adding a bit more glamour to the look. Scarves- neck scarves

Scarves- You might not like the feeling of scarves in the summer, as you instantly think of sweat, and being uncomfortable. I wear the neck scarves, the square silk scarf, that would be cooler in warm temperatures. This is my favorite scarf ( this is similar) you have seen plenty of times on the blog. Want a bit of color? A scarf square tied at the neck, could add that pop, when wearing a neutral look. Also, silk scarves are lighter, and will give you that elegant look.

Earrings

Belt

Woven/Wood belt- This is one of my favorite belts. Its dark brown color and woven thread works well with so many dresses, especially the white dresses or neutral shades. The rattan belts are often a great alternative and go with so many dresses.

Espadrilles

Espadrilles- These espadrilles gifted by Andre Assous years ago are one of my favorite pairs. I love the lower heel, and the gold intertwined in the woven fabric. I’ve found a more current pair by him in gold. It would go with so many of your summer outfits.

Picture this look without the accessories. It certainly could we worn, but would it have that excitement factor? Would it be as striking?

I bought this dress from Mango a few years ago, so it is not in stock, but I found a similar dress that is a GREAT BUY , has pockets and quality! Plus there is a lot of color selection.

So tell, me can you believe it is mid June? I am not looking to wish this summer away, as I have been enjoying sitting outside, dining al fresco and wearing summer clothes. How is your summer going thus far?

    I like the texture of the accessories you are sharing. That woven belt and the great bag. I am a sucker for print, too. And your scarf adds a lot of interest and frames your pretty face. I keep saying I am going to try linen again but haven’t done it yet. Guess I need to keep that promise.
