19 Feb What I’m Eating, Reading, Watching , Wearing and Doing In February
Hello ladies,
Since last month’s I’m Reading, Doing, Watching, Wearing, Eating –was a hit, I thought I would give you some insight into what I am eating, reading, watching and doing this month of February.
What I am Eating
A whole lotta spinach. Or baby spinach in salads. I do love a great salad and croutons are a must! I will often have it at lunch and it keeps me full until dinner time. We also used the fresh spinach to make a Winter Soup recipe. It is a favorite of my hubbys.
We typically have salmon once a week too. I really could eat seafood every day!
Winter Soup Recipe-

We have also subscribed to Blue Apron and they send us Meal prep kits. It is great for my hubby, mom and I , as we often just have to add another protein with my mom here, instead of an entire meal. We prepare much of it on Sunday, and have things ready to go!
Grain Bowls. I LOVE a delicious grain bowl. We had them from BA and then made them ourselves with Quinoa,, beets, butternut squash, zucchini, onions and garbanzo beans. You can actually make it out of the veggies of your choice as well as your favorite grain.

Reading
You may have read earlier that I am reading The Great Alone, by Kristin Hannah. Excellent! I am 3/4 of the way done, and the story really takes you in. Her latest book that my mom bought is, The Four Winds, another historical fiction book that has rave reviews. It’s on my list!
Watching
Behind Her Eyes on Netflix. A mysterious and interesting story, this is a series you may want to binge.
Vikings– Part 2 Season 6- I love this series, which was on the History channel originally, is now on Amazon. Great battle scenes and the characters are interesting. Ivan the Boneless is my favorite character.. he is ruthless! I just want to drink a beer at a bar and say, “Skol” sometime!
American Detective on ID- Detective Joe Kenda is back as the narrator telling the stories of American detectives and their cases.
The Trial – An Italian murder mystery- Netflix
Wearing-
I was thrilled when the fashion editor of Pure Wow, reached out to me to feature myself along with 7 other ladies asking “What is Your Pandemic Uniform? ” You can see some of my examples in the PUREWOW ARTICLE HERE.
This is something I have worn at home, and just bought these Vince Camuto fashion sneakers to wear with some of my loungewear as well.
Otherwise, it is either gym/activewear ( working out at the home gym) or jeans and a sweater.
Doing
I have a pretty regular schedule at the casa, and my fur bear Gibson, likes it that way! He is my shadow and gets a bit ornery if I deviate too much!
I work out at the home gym 5 days a week, after having coffee! I have a home treadmill, therabands, medicine balls, and kettlebells among other things.
Blog photos, editing, and writing.
Drawing. I am working on a course, learning how to draw dogs. It is a wonderful book, with great explanations. My mom and I were discussing how as a teen I used to draw “album cover art.”
Guitar- I am working on the songs, “Sweet Child of Mine” by Guns and Roses, and “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica. I enjoy fingerpicking, so I am doing that on my Gibson ES335 and my Fender Strat.
We had fun at our wine and chocolate tasting for Valentine’s Day. If there is one red wine I can recommend that was new to me, it is- called “Angeline” 2018 and we bought the Cabernet Sauvignon. It is so smooth and fruit forward.
I have not bought a lot of clothes this winter, but have been lately perusing | Poshmark and got some great deals I will share with you in a bit on the blog!
Let me know how your getting on in February?
Have a great weekend and stay safe!

I add it to everything I can from casseroles to pastas and salads of course! How fun that you were featured in Pure Wow. I need to go give that a read! I am loving your jogger outfits and I am feeling compelled now to go shopping today for a few for myself. Thanks for linking with me!

Posted at 10:52h, 19 FebruaryGreat post to catch up with you this February! I have bought several items from Poshmark and like most of what I have gotten. Wish they had an option for returning items that don’t fit, though. I haven’t gotten into “reposhing” items, have you?
