4th of July Picks and Outfits of the Past

Happy Friday ladies!
How many of you are celebrating the upcoming Holiday with your family?

Do you enjoy wearing red white and blue for the 4th?

This quote spoke to me, even more aprapo with the situation we have now.

July

Spending lots of time outside, we will have a cookout on the grill. I don’t eat red meat, but Fresh Market is calling me for a salmon, feta and spinach burger on the grill. We have been going to the local fruit stand, which has the best fresh fruits and vegetables, so we will pick up corn on the cob to grill. I will make a strawberry, feta and tomato salad that has been enjoyed through the years.

Lots of celebration typically for us in July.  You have the 4th. The 7th is my boy,( furbear)  Gibson’s 9th birthday. ( Ill need party hats!) My birthday is the 8th. Our 19th Wedding Anniversary is the 14th, and my mom’s Bday is the 31st. I can forsee lots of good eating this month! I am looking at Fig Tree for my bday dinner, and I know I will plan a little celebration for my moms. I just love to surprise people!

How are you all faring with what is going on? This is a challenging time in so many ways. I find I run the gamut of emotions from one day to the next. Some days I deal with this better than others. I hope and pray for positive change. I am surprised when I go places and feel like I am the only one wearing a mask. It really is imperative that we do our part to help slow this. NC is seeing a decline in cases just recently, so time will tell.

In the meantime, why not think of what you might want to wear to show your patriotism?

Here are some outfits I have posted in the past. I’ll be sharing some casual 4th of July looks next week.

Sorry I missed this post, friend. I agree doing what is right is better (and more difficult) than doing what we please. You’ve got me wanting a salmon feta burger now!!! You look great in all of your red, white & blue outfits. Since we’ve had an uptick in virus numbers, I’ve gotten more diligent about wearing a face mask…

No problem! Thanks Kim! We are going to have a nice cookout for the 4th and we have to keep our girl company since she is so afraid of fireworks.
      Take care! jess xx
