14 Feb 6 Wearable Spring Trends for 2020
Hi Ladies, Happy Valentine’s Day!
It seems that each Spring, certain trends seem to stand the test of time. We usually see florals ( which I love), utility or safari looks, and bright whites. These are all trends I can get behind and have in my closet Today, I’ll talk about trends that are wearable and ones you may want to add to your closet this year.
I am beginning to think we live in a Tropical Rainforest. Our “backyard” nature trail had turned into a lake with the amount of rain we have had. It hasn’t stopped all week, so I will be scrambling this weekend to take photos. w
I talked a bit about Classic Blue being the Pantone color of the year, in this POST, and I hope to combine some of the Pantone color “harmonies” in outfits I style for the Spring.
So, now, besides color, let’s see what we have in trends you may wear for Spring 2020.
Don’t you love it when you watch a video of a runway show and think it is very artistic but can’t see certain trends fitting into your everyday life?
Here are 6 trends that are wearable, that you may actually have in your closet already
Suiting with Bermuda Shorts– The look is a blazer with longer tailored shorts or bermuda shorts. So, a classically tailored suit with shorts instead of trousers.
Denim skirts– Seeing long maxi skirts on the runway and many denim separates that are popular this season. I have written that they are not only a trend this season, but really a great wardrobe staple you can wear year-round. I used to have several midi denim skirts- one with a trumpet hem, another with more of an a-line style.
Trench coats– Trench coats are a great staple for the Spring, if you work outside the home, just for that extra layer, and you look put together. If you are in the workforce a trench will always look classic and timeless.
Slip dresses– I love a slip dress as they have the comfort of a nightgown. Wear a thin white tee under the tank dress if you don’t want to expose too much skin. Love this olive neutral color.
Whites– Every Spring bright whites seem to reemerge. I love a white textured dress, a flowy maxi or a white suit. Something about all white makes the look very classy and fresh. I like to keep the jewelry at a minimum too, especially in the hotter months to keep the look clean and stylish.
Utility– which I love -as I love the olive greens, neutrals associate with this style.
So which of these trends do you own or would you like to add to your Spring wardrobe?
Have a Happy Valentine’s Day and great weekend!

Posted at 13:13h, 26 FebruaryGreat round up of trends, my friend! I only just got on the slip dress train, but I do have lots of whites, utility pieces, trench coats and denim skirts. Bermuda shorts are not really my thing, but I do like shorts paired with blazers. Thanks for linking up!

Posted at 12:11h, 16 FebruaryI’ver never been a fan of Bermuda shorts, they make my legs look super skinny. Denim skirts and trench coats are always in style! Can’t wait for spring!

Posted at 15:28h, 15 FebruaryI’m hoping since Bermuda shorts are trending that I can find a pair that isn’t denim. I like the look of the jacket with them, too, although I’m not sure how practical that is.

Posted at 12:13h, 16 FebruaryI bet you can find some this year. I know Mango had them last year and they have sales, so maybe try there too. I do love that look too and could do it for Spring, but would be too hot for Summer.

Posted at 07:38h, 14 FebruaryI definitely want to add more white into my wardrobe this spring but at the same time I hate the way white wears over time. Deodorant stains, getting yellow-ish with every wash, etc. I’m definitely not the best at keeping whites white but I do love the way white looks.

Posted at 10:41h, 14 FebruaryHi Marta! I too, want to add some more white. I would love a white dress and a white denim skirt. Those are on the list. I know what you mean about keeping white bright!
