Pantone Color of the Year – 2020

Classic Blue.

Blue Hues.

Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2020.

I’ve written about the color of the year for the past few years, and this not only dictates fashion and what will be in stores, but interior design, accessories, and more.

If you missed the post, have a read HERE- Pantone Color of the Year-20118

Pantone Colors for Spring 2019

I hope to keep you informed on the Pantone colors for Spring 2020. I always love to see what colors are coming out and combinations I can put together!

Boy, this is one color I do not have in my closet. You may have seen or heard about this color by now. If you are like my mom, with white hair, or my PT with silvery grey, you may have this blue and many others in your closet.

Other than blue jeans, there isn’t much blue in my closet. This blue hue would look wonderful on all skin tones, and with red hair, it would be a winner!

This will be a shorter post today as I began titrating down on my pain medication and boy, it is taking alot out of me. Sometimes I wonder if I am a strong enough person to do this, as the withdrawal symptoms of higher muscle pain, naseua, restlessness sleeping is difficult!  I contacted my doctor and he says it can be 2 weeks before stabilizing at this new dosage. So, I guess you could say, i’ve got the Winter/Health Blues…

So tell me, will you be incorporating this color of the year into your wardrobe? Do you have many blue shades in your closet?

I am absolutely loving this color and it is definitely a color that looks great on me with my dark hair and light complexion. That being said, I don’t think I have much in this shade either. I used to, but I think it was all so old that it eventually was just weeded out. See, this is why I try to hang onto everything! LOL. I hope you are starting to feel an improvement with your titrating. I have been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Shelbee! Yes, I am sure it looks great with your coloring. Thank you so much for the well wishes. My doc said it might be two weeks before I even out. Still experiencing increased pain, but trying my best. Hugs!

It’s so funny, I have never gravitated toward blues until the past year. I have been redecorating my home and put blues throughout different rooms. A deep dark blue under the chair railing in my dinning room and in my kitchen I painted my pantry door a fabulous blue. And I am painting my front door blue this spring. Great post Jess!

    Peace!

      Hi Cheryl,
Great to hear from you! I even said that to my hubby and painting one of the rooms in our house a medium blue- not this shade, but I do love blues for intereior design. I bet that looks great!
      Hope you are well!

Hi Kim, thank you for your well wishes. I think it is just going to take some time to adjust. I know what you mean, it isnt one I go for usually, but I do like it for interior and home design.
