A Butter Soft Knit for Summer as Cool as Linen

Clara Sunwoo does it again!  I have been eyeing this 2 piece set for a while, a material’s softness is important to me. The sound of this “Butter -knit”, sounded excellent. I love that both pieces can be worn separately to create more outfits. I would wear these large floral print vibrant gauchos with a simple plain tee or tank and some slides for a more casual look. The one shoulder top with ruffle, would look great with denim shorts, cream trousers, white jeans, lots of options. If you are a bit self-conscious about your arms, and like coverage, a jean jacket or a light cotton jacket would look great with this top as well.

For size reference, I am wearing an XS in all of my Clara Sunwoo pieces, and they are beyond comfortable. My usual size is a 4.

Honestly, they make you feel like you are wearing pajamas! I wore my Bruno Magli espadrilles for additional height and to bring out the navy in the print.

If you are a regular reader, I love that Clara Sunwoo is a mother-daughter team. They bring us such great fashion, I wore them each day on my Martha’s Vineyard trip. I didn’t realize how much I dislike ironing, until I tried to iron my blackout theatre curtains! With CSW, everything is wrinkle free! I certainly can vouch for them being wonderful for travel, and mixing and matching pieces.

The Weekend

I hope you enjoyed last weekend, We, in NC here, got a downpour of rain for about three days, so there went Memorial Day, cooking out hot tub, eating outside. So, we made up for the “unofficial start of summer” this weekend. My SIL and brother invited us to Music under the Oaks, and we heard a great rock band. The following day I had my first day of paddleboarding for the season, but my PT had me start of slow with 15 minutes. ( It takes longer to inflate the board! ) , but I did it. We then went to their house and had a fabulous time in the pool and having dinner. Sunday, I had to recouperate, and am carefully watching, so that with paddleboarding, my PN doesn’t return with a vengeance. Overall, it was a busy and fun weekend!
