23 May A Coral Spring Event Dress from Closet 52 Boutique

Have Spring Events to attend?  I am sharing this coral halter dress from Closet 52.

For reference, I am 5 foot 9, 120 pounds, size 4 in dresses. I am wearing my true size in this dress. 

Closet 52 Dresses

I was contacted by Closet 52, a boutique store in New York, to choose some Spring dresses. Tomorrow I will be sharing more.  I have been looking or interested in getting a coral dress for my wardrobe. On the site, it is called “orange”, but looks like a softer coral shade to me. “Orange you glad I said, coral? “Coral is one of those beautiful shades that goes with everyone’s skin tone. The halter style appealed to me, and it is a great way of showing your shoulders if you choose to do so. I could also style this dress with a light wrap if exposing your arms is not something you want to do.

I love the subtle pattern with flecks of gold in it and emulated those bits of gold with my Kendra Scott hoop earrings. ( these are similar)

Family is coming to town in mid-June, and we have already planned a brunch together. This dress would be a great events dress- brunch, a wedding, a lunch with girlfriends.  You certainly don’t have to “save” any of your dresses for that special occasion, but could wear it anytime in the Spring if you choose. The way I look at it, we had nearly 2 years of not making plans, and now that we can, each day really should be cherished! Go out and enjoy!

Halter Neck Dress

A halter neck dress will show off your shoulders.  They also balance out your proportions, as the eye is drawn upward to the neckline. I am wearing a strapless bandeux type bra, as I am a 36B and am working to see what strapless bra is comfortable and holds up the chest. I did order a Soma strapless , wireless bra, but woah, was it padded and the cups were too big. So back to the drawing board there. For now, I wear this bra with halters and wear a strapless is needed.
