A Tailored Look in Winter White- For Less

Winter white is just so chic and contemporary. I’m sharing with you a tailored winter white look, how I styled it, and that it doesn’t have to break the bank!

Not sure how to style Winter White?

Try adding different shades of white with your look. I mentioned in this post, How to Look Fabulous in Winter White    if you are fairer skinned like me, try wearing a warmer off-white or cream near your face, like this blazer. The whites don’t need to be exact. A brighter white, like a white denim jean can certainly look great with cream. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and weight of this blazer, H&M has some great options. This one another Winter White blazer I was eyeing.

Add another Neutral with your Accessories

I wanted to add this black croc print clutch, to add a bit of contrast within the neutrals.

You could certainly wear tan, brown, or cognac accessories, as the look is another classic option.

Shoes are taken into consideration the same way.

I am wearing my Chinese Laundry block sandals in another cream tone, but croc textured.

Add Texture

I can imagine this look with a feathered or beaded clutch. Just think of where you can add texture to your Winter white look.

Take my basic off-white turtleneck under the blazer. This cable knit sweater will make another alternative if I want to add additional texture to this look. You could also wear a textured sweater vest underneath this blazer for a modern look.

Outfit- Winter White for Less

Here I am wearing a well-tailored cream blazer from H&M, as well as one of their basic fine knit turtleneck sweaters. I bought 3 this year in different colors as they are great for layering. An older pair of cream leggings could be worn under this longer blazer. Gold ball drop earrings, a thin gold chain and watch were it, as I like to keep the jewelry here minimal. The blazer was under $50, the turtleneck $15, leggings are $20.

I forgot my signature brooch! You could certainly add a wonderful gold brooch to the lapel for added interest and texture.

You can shop this look below, and I have also added some other cream/Winter white pieces to the mix and many are under $50.

You can look elevated without having to spend a fortune!

Have you tried Winter White looks yet? Let me know in the comments. I love to hear from you!

Thank you Cheryl! I have always loved winter white looks, so I put these pieces together and they were very reasonable. I think it would be fun to add a feathered bag!

I don’t actually have that much white in my wardrobe—only white jeans, vests and maybe a white shirt. I’d love a nice cozy white knit though. Then I could wear all it together! You look fabulous, Jess. Very sophisticated!

Thank you Suzy! I do have quite a bit of white in my wardrobe. XCVI sent me all white pieces last year and in the summer it is great . I have always wanted to put a winter white outfit together.

I have about 5 H&M blazers, and they are all great quality. This one especially is weighty and made well. I am with you on blazers, I think i wore some when I was in high school! thank you!!
