Andre Assous Carmela Wedge Sandal for Spring

Happy Friday!

Now that the weather has warmed up a bit, and is looking like Spring, are you taking inventory of the Spring shoes in your wardrobe? What do you want to add to your closet? After 10 years with EDS, I am finally able to wear beautiful shoes with a supportive heel and cushioning It is utterly exciting, as the limitless choices of shoes and sandals continues to tempt me!

I am happy to bring you another pair and style from Andre Assous today. My last post, Blush Pink Espadrilles by Andre Assous,, showed you a pretty pair of blush colored espadrille mules that would be fresh and springy, not to mention a feminine touch. Today, I am wearing a wedge pair of leather sandals that are very chic and stylish.

My outfit today began with my shoes.  Looking to wear one of my favorite staple pieces, my a-line jean skirt, I then pulled a floral mesh top from my closet that I have had for years. The black in the pattern, along with my Zara circle bag, would add additional touches of pinks, greens and yellow to my look. I love a great blazer for pulling it together, so I added my blush pink blazer .

I love these black leather strappy sandals. They are light, cushioned and come in several other colors. cognac and cream.  Andre Assous has been making handcrafted sandals for over 40 years.  The foot bed is designed to copy your foot’s movement, and each sandal has outstanding cushioning. Comfort and style is important with this brand. This shoe is very light and a casual black sandal was something I needed to add to my shoe collection for Spring.

Thank you Khloe, it took me about a year to find a deinm skirt like this, I bought it last year from Loft. Many denim skirts i find are too short, destructed, or I am not crazy about the style. I loved this one! x

Those are the cutest shoes! I am loving ones like this right now because they have a heel without putting your foot at such an angel that they are super uncomfortable.

Thank you Amy! I love all of the neutral shades these come in too, but I didn’t have a casual black pair, so I went with black. Yes, they are comfy! Happy weekend.

Beautiful shoes and they look like they’d be comfortable! I am so happy to see well made, stylish shoes that are comfortable. I love your outfit and the shoes are perfect with the denim skirt and pretty floral top. I do not have luck with denim skirts but I love seeing them on others. Hope you have a great weekend Jess!

      Kellyann,
It took me about a year to find this button down style of denim skirt. Plus it is very soft denim. These were my requirements, and i found them on LOFT last year. I know many denim skirts are too short or too stiff! i bet you would love this style on you. I am too glad that shoes are being made stylish and cushioned and that they are attractive! They have come a long way!

Such a very pretty blouse, Jess! I love the style, the print, and the colours. Just gorgeous. And I would never have thought of wearing that style of jacket with a denim skirt (although I do wear that type of jacket with jeans!) That was a real “A-ha” moment for me!
