Turning Heads Linkup – Andre Assous – The Espadrille Sandal

Good Morning Ladies!

Are you getting excited for Spring fashions and sandals? I feel like, maybe if i dress the part, the weather will follow! Today i am sharing this spring look featuring Andre Assous espadrille sandals. As a reader, you can use this CODE for 15% off!

Promo code: elegantlydressed (15%)

Valid: March 1 – April 30th.

How was your weekend? We spent it going out for walks with the puppies and to our favorite wine bar on the Lake, The Cottage. We tell the puppies we are going to Grandma Trudy’s house! The place is inviting with sofas, a table, and surrounded by wine knick knacks and delicious vintages. When they come in the door, they make themselves at home, and make a b-line for the biscuit jar! This is just one of the most dog friendly places, and you feel like you are in someone’s living room.

We also did a bit of shopping and I look forward to showing some of my spring finds on the blog. We have worked it out, where hubby does the grocery shopping while i do the clothes shopping, its a win-win!

I was glad we took these pictures a bit ahead of time, as this week we have had gale winds that feel like they can blow you back a bit! Windy shots are always tough!

Andre Assous

I was contacted by the company, Andre Assous to chose sandals from their new Spring line. I love espadrilles and these blush pink ones would be so perfect with many of my Spring looks. I love the ease of the shoe, the comfort, and style! They are just slip on and go! Comfort and style is key!

Andre Assous began making women’s sandals 40 years ago. “True to the tradition of making espadrilles, each of Andre Assous’ designs was handcrafted in Spain, using the finest materials and supreme craftsmanship. What separates the espadrille from other wedges is its woven jute midsole, layered around a sturdy cork and held together on a durable rubber sole. “

Andre Assous shoes are made for comfort, as their foot bed is designed to conform to your foot and mimic your foot mechanics.  Many of the shoes are made of goat skin leather which are even softer than regular leather.’ I can attest to this! These sandals are so soft, when I put my feet in and after a few walks around the neighborhood, are easy to get used to. Comfort is very important to the company, as who doesn’t want shoes you can walk around all day in!

I will be bringing you another style from this company this Spring, as there are many to choose from. I love the traditional espadrille in earthy tones, and these   elegant espadrille peep toe sandals. .

These glittery gold espadrilles would be great from day to night, on vacation and out to dinner. I love the jeweled embellishments! These shoes come in  silver, navy and gold .

Andre Assous also carries dress shoes, boots, and fashion sneakers, if you love the handmade style by the brand.

This Zara floral print blouse in pinks, yellows and greens makes me think of Spring.

This is one of my favorite moto jackets. I was won over by the lace up style in the back.

As a reader, you can use this CODE for 15% off!

These sandals were gifted to me by Andre Assous. All thoughts are my own and truthful.

Nice espadrilles! They are a great color and sound so comfortable. Your blush moto jacket is nice and I enjoyed seeing the bit of yellow print peeping out. Goodness, it has been cold here this week and I thought we were done with that nonsense. 🙁

I love the espadrilles! I like that they have the small heel so it’s dressed up but not impossible to walk in.

Those espadrilles are lovely! Nude wedge sandals or espadrilles are my go-to Summer footwear. We are a long way off that kind of weather here in the UK though – I’m just happy it’s above freezing after last week! Beautiful jacket, I love the lace up detail at the back!

I love that the sandals are made in my neighbouring country of Spain! They look really comfy. Unfortunately I have trouble wearing shoes like that – my feet always seem to fall out them lol! So they either need to be flat or with a strap at the back!

Your moto jacket is beautiful with the lace up detail, it’s different from the standard moto jackets that I see everywhere. The color is a nice hue and goes perfectly together with your floral blouse and olive cargo pants.
