30 Apr Blooming FLorals Pencil Skirt
Hello Ladies!
We had a lovely day outside. Temperatures are starting to get hot!! My niece had her baptism and we were in attendance. The ceremony was nice, then we were to head to my sister’s house for some snacks and wine. My mom earlier in the week, brought these awesome creamy, flaky lady locks. Ah, memories of childhood! A cream filled flaky pastry we used to get all the time as kids. So good!! Then today, after the Baptism, there was wine and cheese/crackers with a delicious cream cheese icing red velvet cake. I, like my mother, have a sweet tooth, so it was very good as well. My little neice was so funny though, as she loves books, and had stacks and stacks of them. Prior to, I bought her a little Boyd Bear wearing a tiny cross necklace meant for her.. she loved it. Now, the funny part. I don’t have children to read to, but she so enjoys my expression when I read, she decided to have me read 5 books to her, one after another!! It was quite cute and funny. I used to teach kindergarten, so I am used to reading with sound effects, inflection, and voices to young children. I enjoyed seeing her like the books so much. I told my mom next time I would bring, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish next time, although I have the feeling the fewer the words, the more times I would be reading it!! It was a good time.
The day was very warm, so we decided to get a few shots on our nature trail in the back of our house. It needs more upkeep, but has flooded several times this year, so things are somewhat overgrown, and need some tender love and care. The trail was something we liked when we moved in, as it is a mile and a half walk around, great exercise for us and the pups. Before EDS, I would run early in the morning, 4-5 times around the trail. So, my outfit is depicting more of spring, beautiful pink and red roses and flowers, a pink top, and my nails and toes an orchid color. My green jeweled earrings and necklace are both jewelbox. I think if I had enough I would wear florals every day of the week, not only do they make me feel feminine, but springy and ready for the change in season.
Have a lovely week!

Posted at 12:08h, 30 AprilHi Jess,
I remember my kids also loved, when I read books for them and they couldnt´t get enough of it. Reading and looking at books with kids is a precious gift we give to them for their whole live. So you all enjoyed a wonderful family event.I´m looking at your beautiful floral skirt which is very pretty. I ´m thinking about wearing floral print for this summer too. Unfortunately the weather is changing very quickly here, the sunny days are over and we have to wear warmer clothes again.
Take care, dear Jess.
