Bold Statements: Exploring Eva Varro’s Fusion of Color and Pattern

Good Monday morning,

I hope you had a lovely Mother’s day weekend and had a nice treat, or time with family.

Eva Varro- Bold Prints

Today, I am sharing a designer that I shared before on the blog, Eva Varro. Ladies enjoyed this A-line cut dress, with the bold and flattering pink pattern added, with detail around the waist making it stand out. I have worn here styles before in REELS I do on Instagram, and today and sharing a look, that is more on the casual forefront. You certainly could wear a pair of wedge espadrilles, or even more laid back, a pair of Converse sneakers.

I like the dichotomy of “girly or feminine flowers” mixed with such sneakers, like the Converse giving it a vibe that is not all feminine.

That is where styling comes in.

The bold red tulip top caught my eye as I do love larger floral patterns, rather than the “ditsy tiny florals” my great grandmother used to wear.

This red bold top would work well with red trousers, cigarette style pants, longer Bermuda shorts, and white jeans , just to name a few things. I will wear denim up until it gets in the 80s consistently, because jeans sticking to you, like Ross’ leather pants on friends is not fun, nor comfortable. Instead, I chose a pair of, must be 10-year-old, cargo pants in olive, to bring out the bit of it in the leaf but also as i nice contrast with red.

Eva Varro is from Los Angeles, and her designs are mostly colorful, bright, and with eye-catching patterns. If you wear one of her pieces, you can not be a or remain a wallflower! You are meant to be noticed, anyway! I do love this print in a dress!

From the website:

“Eva Varro graduated from the Fashion Institute of Budapest, Hungary and honed her talent working for several leading fashion design companies in Hungary and Italy.  She relocated to the United States and settled in Los Angeles, California in 2002; after a very successful relationship with a Los Angeles based company, she launched her own line that became an instant success.”

Her clothes are form fitting, and meant to flatter a woman’s shape or figure.

And how was your weekend?

As I mentioned I hope you enjoyed Mother’s Day. My Mom was in Hoboken, taking in a NY show and eating out with my brother and his family. My hubby and I went out to an amazing meal at a new restaurant to us in downtown Charlotte, called ARIAS. It is Italian, and oh was it fresh and delicious. We both ordered the focaccia with ricotta, tomatoes, spinach and olives. It was loaded with cheese! So good!

Then we went to see the Tony Award winning show, Hadestown. It was fabulous! If you don’t know what it is about have a read about Orpheus and Eurydice from Greek Mythology. My favorite voice of the evening was Hades, which was a bass/baritone voice. I always love the deep men’s voices. I highly recommend this show as the musical was interesting in theme, and the music itself was wonderful, often jazzy/bluesy, which is appropriate if you live in Hadestown!

Sunday mornings I work at the shelter and we got in a Collie and a Chihuahua, they are both beautiful.

Have you ever tried Eva Varro fashions ?   Are you a bold floral fan? Tell me in the comments. I appreciate you being here.
