This is a post I decided to do as we went to Brunch on Sunday. I am getting ready for my excursion and wanted to have an outfit to share before we get on the plane today and I have other looks to show for Fashion Week.
I am keeping it short and sweet, but wanted to share this #OOTD with you as we have decided after exploring Asheville as much as we did, that we needed to do so more in our hometown. We went to this restaurant in Dilworth, a beautiful area of Charlotte with older historic homes, and great places to dine. We take the puppies practically everywhere, but were uncertain if they had enough outdoor seating or accomadated pups. So, we found out not only do they cater to pups, but the owner has a special menu item called ‘Grunch” which is like a granola for puppies ( Granola+Brunch=Grunch)
Nevertheless, we ate well again at 300 East, and I was ready to wear sneakers, short and a tank top, when I thought about the area and decided I should dress up a bit. ASOS scores again! I love this store. As you know, I am avid on-line shopper and have bought many dresses from ASOS. This dress was on sale for $40 months ago, and I just loved the fitted style with the almost trumpet skirt style of the bottom portion. I paired it with 1928 emerald tone jeweled necklace and earrings, and added some additional color with the BC Footwear floral and jeweled flats containing navy, green, yellows and other shades. My Rebecca Minkoff black quilted bag has been in my closet, rather lonely, and I felt it was time to make its appearance.
As I mentioned, I am in New York later today, and will be sharing posts on fashion throughout the week, both mine and the shows.
Have a Wonderful Day!!
