Of course you can wear olive year round. However, as in last week’s post, I am showing how you might choose this color and how I would style this dress for Fall.
Last week I wore one of my favorite Fall shades with a satin dress and Fall accessories. Today, and this week, it is all about olive.
I am always attracted to greens, due to the contrast with my hair, and olive has always been a favorite shade. I also as the weather gets cooler, like to add scarves that compliment the color I am wearing. This Mango silk scarf in mustard and lavendar adds color and print to this shade of green.
An easy way to take a more summery dress and transition it to Fall, is by wearing booties and a moto jacket. I certainly find these are workhorses in my closet.
Add a jean jacket and some Tall boots.
These are just a few ways of layering this dress for Fall. Try and think of multpurpose uses for the clothes you buy as well as how you can wear a dress for various seasons.
Straw bags are still going strong, but I can tell my other bags are getting a bit lonely especially Louis and Teddy.
Neutrals such as olive can virtually go with any color, so switch it up! It you tend to wear the same color scheme – try mixing it up. I could see this dress with a vibrant red blazer or a dark plum moto. Neutrals are quite elegant, but if you want that pop of color and want to keep this look neutral, add it in your accessories.
This Mango jersey dress was bought a few seasons ago. I loved the button detail down the front, the easy style and a-line cut. Since it was a few years ago, I linked up similar pieces below for you to shop.
Do you wear olive ? What colors do you choose to pair it with ?
Id love to hear from you in the comments.
