Hello Ladies!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Ours was casual, wine and tapas bar, and some brunch on Sunday.

I decided to bring out the shorts as it is as hot as its going to be right now, the mid 90s, and this is kind of a different look for me.

I decided to wear a pair of one of my favorite colors, Mint. These are one of those things where I like the style and buy it in more than one color. We all do that right? Everyone must decide on what length of shorts suit them best, and I found that these work for me, and guess what! Lace 🙂 I can’t stray too far from my style!

Instead of pairing it with a tank top and casual sandals, just some other details can dress up this look with shorts. I am wearing a lace top, with an embellished collar, from Sheinside, that was a whopping 11.00 ( no longer there) and then added this minty darker green blazer. This was another Poshmark purchase, as I am a fan of Zara, and found this there!  When one wants to dress up jeans or an outfit, a blazer is a nice bet!

Last, I brought out my favorite floral blingy, pointed flats for added color and pattern

Some  fun ways then to dress up your shorts are:

  • Chose a flat front dressier pair of shorts, more of a tailored style. Depending on one’s taste, walking shorts may be your style. I say, wear the length that makes you comfortable.
  • Patterns or textures are fun to add to a solid blazer, as here I am wearing mint lace shorts.
  • A cardigan, waterfall jacket or blazer, makes for a classic or put together style.
  • Add texture or print with your shoes, such as these floral flats, jeweled flats, kitten heel.with a bow.
  • Choose the opposite from above, a solid blazer and print or textured short, wear mixed patterns, or try a floral jacket with a bright pair of structured shorts
  • Just some ideas, you can play around!

    I pretty much live in short in the summer! Especially when it is above 90s. I usually will pair a top that don’t require a bra. Lol! I know, I really don’t like wearing bra during the hot days. 😉 You look great in this outfit and I wish I have your long legs! 😉
