Eric Javits Handbags: The Epitome of Luxury and Craftsmanship

Good Morning. I am introducing you to an American designer, out of New York, Eric Javits.

I hope everyone in the States had a great Labor Day weekend. Our pool doesn’t close until October 1st, so I took advantage and spent time reading and cooling off in the pool.

There was a lot of sales this weekend, did you buy any Fall clothes?

Eric Javits Handbags

You may have heard of him and his elegant designs, as he is known for his hats and bags, and also has shoes added to the collection.

I was contacted and gifted several of his bags, and as always, I present a truthful review and post.

Styling this beautiful bag was no trouble! It will be summer like temps until around early November here in North Carolina, and this bag can certainly transition nicely into the Fall.

“Eric Javits is a renowned American fashion designer known for his luxury accessories, particularly his line of timeless and elegant bags. His designs often incorporate high-quality materials, intricate craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Eric Javits’ bags are sought after for their sophisticated and classic designs that transcend trends, making them suitable for various occasions and settings.”

You may be thinking I have a bit of an obsession with bags! Well, I suppose it isn’t far from the truth. I do love handbags, but also don’t like to be overwhelmed, as my closet isn’t large, so I have made a rule that “What comes in, goes out. ” In other words, if I get several new bags, I I either donate several older bags to Uncommon Goods, a Church related business, locally called Lydia’s Loft, or sell on Poshmark. The same holds true with other items from my closet, as I made that deal with myself.

Now, I digress.

The Bel Air Handbag

This bag caught my eye straightaway, as I loved the style and construction of both cognac leather and this squishee material that is a heavier duty, well-made material that is trademarked by the company. It is sturdy and has several zipped pockets, along with a leather pocket in the back It also comes with straps to convert into a backpack, but I won’t be doing that. It is called The Bel Air and is one of their most popular designs.

You can wear this bag, nearly year-round because of the mix in materials. It is very well made and has the 4 bottom footies to prevent your bag from getting dirty when you sit it down. I styled it with this olive palm dress (that is ages old) with my beautiful Bruno Magli cognac sandals and Prada sunglasses. I kept the look pretty simple but elegant.

From the Eric Javits website:

“Mid-size shoulder bag of Squishee® with zip top closure, leather flap, handle and trim converts to a backpack. The outside leather patch pocket on the reverse is convenient for easy access to cell phone or glasses. Squishee® is a patented man-made material with partially recycled fibers resembling genuine raffia straw. It will not crack or melt when wet and is more durable and lightweight than natural straw. The outside front pocket is for easy access to travel documents. Inside: sidewall zipper compartment, dual patch pockets, and key clip. All Eric Javits bags are lightweight and durable.”

Ooo that’s a beautiful bag! It’s truly a stunner. I adore the shape and that it can be worn through all seasons. Pool time is the best time! I am glad that you are able to enjoy it for several more weeks. I can’t believe though that we are in September. This year is flying by! Yikes! Thank you so much for the feature! It’s always a nice surprise. Definitely made my week! I hope your day is going well so far and how is Truffles today? Keeping my fingers crossed she is feeling a bit of relief. We will definitely continue to send prayers your way. In the meantime, big hugs!

Hi Maureen, I always appreciate your thoughtful comments. It caught my attention straightaway. We got grest news with Truffles, she is 90% healed due to us doing 2 sets of drops every hour for 5 days, and every 2 at night. The cone is off, so we have a follow up on Tuesday. We were worried she might have to lose an eye! So happy she doesnt! You are the sweetest!

Oh wow, Jess, what a gorgeous bag! I love the way it pairs with those stunning sandals. And this dress is magnificent on you! Such a fabulous look, my friend. I hope you enjoy the final days of summer and soaking in the pool! It is still pool weather here for about another week. Next week, we start seeing lows in the 40s. Eek. Fall is definitely coming!
