12 Feb Favorite Leopard Looks
Good morning ladies!
Leopard is one of those prints that is so fun to wear, and I consider it a neutral. Pair it with solids, wear with stripes, color or other neutral tones and it is always so stylish. I have really got to loving it over the past several years as it seems a popular print with bloggers. Some leopard can look cheap or cheesy, so you have to look at the material or the style of product you are choosing.
I had bought a pair of brown leather booties from Zappos a few months back. They were pretty, a flat heel and I looked forward to wearing them. Yet, when i got them home, they sat in my closet for a few months without me taking them out of the box. I just didn’t LOVE them! So, I returned them and bought these Zara leopard booties instead. At this time of my life, I now ask that question before i make a purchase. “Do I LOVE it?” I just don’t want more “stuff” for the sake of more ‘stuff”, so this is a way to truly think about how it will add value and interest to my outfits.
I hope to do a post on Closet Staples soon, and i really would include leopard shoes and booties to be a staple or must have! Versatile and fun to wear, they give the look the extra ‘wow’ factor. Here, I am wearing my new Zara leopard booties with my oh-so-soft taupe cowl neck sweater dress from LOFT, a tan-brown leather moto jacket accompanied by my leopard print clutch. If you wanted to add color to this outfit, you could wear a colorful set of earrings ( I love these), or wear a colored tight. I will often add a pop of color to a neutral look, but other times I love soft neutral tones on their own.
Excuse the somewhat hazy look of today’s outfit pictures. Realizing this, 4 pm is not the ideal time for photos. I need to get out earlier in the day for clearer shots. You live and learn!
Here are a few of my other leopard favorites from my closet. :
You have seen this one recently. Another neutral look with leopard wearing my scarf from Christmas.
Leopard swing coat I bought from Poshmark for a steal! Im wearing it with my emerald green velvet Zara dress.
Comfort and Style! I love my Sam Edelman slip on leopard sneakers! Fun, casual look.
Although this Ann Taylor Pencil skirt has a jacquard pattern with little flowers, it looks like a leopard print!
This leopard cardi from the Mad Men collection from Banana Republic was bought on Poshmark.
This Chicos leopard Ruana is reversible and very versatile!
This leopard jacket was also purchased on Poshmark.
If you haven’t read how to shop on Poshmark, an on line resale shop give it a read!
Thank you Leslie ( a reader) for reminding me about my snow leopard shawl. I bought this on poshmark as well. It’s Banana Republic and a great layering piece. If you have silver, grey or white hair, the snow leopard print is another way to add leopard to your look.
So, this is not my entire collection of leopard, but some examples of shoes, boots, skirts, cardigans and leopard print dresses that can be styled as a neutral pattern and worn many ways.
Main outfit details

Are you a leopard fan? What leopard piece would you add to your closet?
I love to hear from you! Thank you for commenting, they make my day!

Posted at 08:00h, 13 FebruaryI love how you incorporated all the leopard pops! It is probably my favourite print this year by far. And I can totally agree with you – I am all for practical, but if I don’t LOVE it, its not worth the space in my closet.

Posted at 16:24h, 12 FebruaryI just love all your leopard looks! You’re so right, it can sometimes look cheap or cheesy if not done right. I’d like a pair of leopard booties but I don’t want to spend a lot and they have to be comfortable. I’m finding that’s a tall order. Honestly I’ll probably get a pair next Fall because it’s really heating up here.
Every one of your looks is just stunning – you are such a beauty Jess!

Posted at 05:57h, 12 FebruaryI only have one piece of leopard left in my closet. Sadly I just can’t find any way of wearing it…the color is just completely off for me nowadays with my white hair. I keep telling myself that a black grey combo would do nicely but nobody seems to offer that combo so I don’t own any. I really love leopard and you always look great in it!

Posted at 09:27h, 12 FebruaryHi Leslie, I have included my “snow leopard” print as an example of what would look great. I purchased it on Poshmark. Glad you enjoyed the leopard looks, as it is a neutral one can wear with anything! Have a great day! xx
