Hello ladies,

As you have all seen my style, once in awhile, I may wear something a bit unexpected. Florals are my favorite, and I have a bunch in my closet, even way before it was a trend. This style on the dress, is something a little different for me, kind of a boho look, as the cut is empire, but the flounce and flowy shape of it , gives it that style or look. This was taken at one of our favorite Greenways and I often take the pups here to walk. The day was sunny, hot, and I thought of this dress as it is airy and light. Now, all I need is one of those floral crowns or headbands, and either go skipping or dancing without care down the greenway to give it that true 70s vibe. Being a musician, I can honestly say one of the best things to come of this era was the music as well. Jimi Hendrix, alot of guitar music… I think we think more of the music perhaps of this era than the clothes, don’t get me started on the polyester bellbottoms and yellow button down shirt I wore to school then!

DressL Old, LOFT( similar) Sandals, Clark Artisian line,( similar in different color) Earrings: Charming Charlies: Hobo Bag: Hayden Harnett NYC,( same bag, different color) Nail polish: 2 shades of Essie, Necklace: Jewel Box

Have a great day!!

I know what you mean – the style might be a little different but that’s what I often feel about really summery clothes. They get us into the mood for wearing something more romantic, hippie or cool. I think it’s great to follow these vibes and just enjoy the sunshine and summer!
And the dress with its beautiful colours suits you so well!
