Morning ladies!
I hope you all enjoyed a weekend and had a taste of Spring in your neighborhood. We had some nice days and the weather is approaching around 70, so I’ll take it! One of the things I think of with Spring weather is brighter colors and florals, not to mention, lighter wash denim jeans. I am also styling a darling pair of woven white leather sandals from Jambu, called the Sandy.

Weekend

This weekend we had a good time at Mutts and Mimosas, a new event that a local Brewery, Sycamore Brewery hosted. Brunch, drinks, and dogs! I am there! I am trying to explore the city more and enjoy some of the local events coming up. If you missed my post on  6 Things to do in Charlotte, have a read! 🙂

Tuesday, the 9th is my hubby’s 50th, so I will later talk about the Bday party and our dinner on the 13th. I’ll be sure to capture pics 🙂

Jambu Sandals- The Sandy

Today, it’s all about some bright colors, as this vibrant aqua blue, pajama styled top from Loft caught my eye last year. I bought it at the end of the season, and it was one to sell out quickly. I love the bright pinks, mustard, teal and aqua blue in this top and the ease of the button down style.

Although I love dark denim, as I think they are most flattering, these light button-fly jeans boyfriend jeans from Loft are just right for the upcoming warmer season. I can also picture this brighter shirt with a pair of white trousers, pattern mixing with some gingham pants or my jean skirt.

I was thrilled to break out my Sandys, a new crocheted style, woven leather sandal from Jambu, that comes in 3 colors- white, brown and black. Since I own just one pair of white espadrilles the opal white caught my eye and I chose it to go with my wardrobe. I love wedges, as this base is so easy to walk in, plus you get a bit of height!

I love the velcro tab at the ankle, and as usual, I have to tighten it as I have skinny ankles. That’s it though, no zippers, just one adjustment and they are so easy to wear. As always, the memory foam footbed is a winner and makes these shoes like walking on clouds. Fashion forward and comfortable wedges for women, that’s what I do love about Jambu!

    These shoes look very soft and comfortable. Love your blouse Jess. I can’t help but notice the sing behind you warning about the snake. I am so petrified by them, I wouldn’t even get out of my car, let alone pose for a photo shoot 🙂

    Seems like the weather where you’re from and where I’m from have been opposites once again haha It was super cold and rainy here this weekend but it’s starting to get sunny again today. That’s a gorgeous look, I love the top and the pajama style it has, looks super casual and comfy.
