Flowing Chiffon Spring Skirt

It is warn today! I have wanted to wear this though for awhile. I love chiffon. This is one of those twirly, soft, feminine, light and airy skirts. I tried this on, at Ann Taylor, and I wasn’t so sure that it would be me, as I am used to more pencil skirts, or some midi skirts, but ah, the material! So, I tried it on, and then found this lovely cardigan that I have had for years to pair with it. There is also something unique about this as well, a snakeskin pattern with tan, and then undertones of peach. The little buds of flowers are always cheery to me, on this cardigan, even though it was so darn hot!!

I remember before my wedding we took swing dance lessons, and I could definately do that in this outfit!! This skirt with bobby socks, hair in a pony tail etc. But when it came down to it.. we resorted back to the box step, even though we had a great swing band, really hip! We decided to go to one of our favorite neighborhoods, and enjoy the day.

Cardigan Loft: old, Skirt ( now at Ann Taylor on Sale), Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff, Necklace and Earrings Jewel Box.

Have a Great day!

The outfit is lovely. For the colors or the skirt lightness and length. Great!

Thanks so much. The texture is snakeskin in the skirt, which is probably as edgy as I am. Just loved how feminine it is. Come back anytime! I enjoy your blog as well. Jess

Thank you Rachael! Swing dancing is so fun! I love it. My favorite contemporary band is Cherry Poppin Daddies, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, but I also love Glen Miller, all of the old favorite swing bands. I loved that this was light and airy and just flowed Thanks again.

Your skirt is lovely! My husband and I went swing dancing last night–it’s definitely the perfect activity for a twirly skirt!
