Green for St Patty’s Day

St Patty's Day dress

Hi ladies!
I hope you are well and had a good weekend

I am wearing green this week for St Patty’s Day.

St Patty's Day outfit

Happenings

I do not live under a rock, and even then it would have to be a rock buried under a whole lot of dirt underground if I didn’t know or pay attention to what was going on in the world. I do think the news is sensational and presented in such a way that has caused heightened fear and panic. We did go to the store and wash our hands religiously, taking necessary precautions against the Coronavirus. I haven’t talked about it on this blog, as I want this to be a diversion and a place where you can find a bit of solace to what is going on in the world.

I am prepared and hope you are as well, but I can’t watch the news non-stop as it just adds to the stress I am feeling. Although fashion might seem a bit frivolous right now, it is a needed escape.

So, wearing green for St Patty’s Day. Although the parades, parties and such have been canceled, you can still dress for the day in green to show a bit of St Patty’s Day Spirit.

I am wearing a green print dress and decorated my Antho jean jacket with one of my favorite green brooches. For a bit more spice, I added lace socks to my black pointed Marc Fisher pumps.

We found the one or two blooming Crepe Myrtle trees in the neighborhood and took a few pictures there.

Having some fun with these lace socks from Amazon with my Marc Fisher block heels.

Jess, this outfit is amazing! Of course, you know that green is my fave color ever. And I love the dark washed denim jacket paired with this style of dress. Then your lace socks are just too stinking adorable! I love this look head to toe! And yes, please keep sharing fun and happy things like outfits here. We all need some positive distractions!

Love your cute St. Patty’s day outfit! I had to stop watching the news and just look things up for a few minutes per day. We’re prepared and there’s not much more that we can do.

Cute dress with a celtic look. I love green but can not wear it. For some reason when I wear green, It puts me in a bad mood.

I don’t think it’s frivolous…we still need to get dressed and the better we look, the better we feel.
    Love the brooch especially Jess.

What a cute look, Jess. I agree that the news presentations are heightening people’s fears. Ugh. I always forget to add lace anklets to my pumps! I love the brooch on your jacket, too, it adds a nice sparkle.
