Hello Ladies

Well, now that March is here, I expect that the weather be cooperative and have some warmer days. It is funny, as in August, we all explain our frustration as it is hot and we are excited to wear boots, sweaters and pretty coats. Same thing happens mid Jan-Feb, everyone gets anxious for spring. I agree!

One thing I have enjoyed while blogging is learning from others. I love the look of textures in the winter, as I think there are so many great textures to choose from, it is easier in the winter to do so more than spring or summer. I love the look of grey with lighter colors like a pastel pink or baby blue. I think it is the softness in the look I love the most.

I decided to feature my Chaos, NY bracelet one more, as you can see the center detail with its antique like characteristic. The baby blue mesh combines with the silver,as does my baby blue earrings with tiny bows which reminded me of the Tiffany’s blue. Of course I had chosen this black lace overlay sweater dress, as I once said they are as comfortable as wearing pajamas, only much more fashionable! The lace like look is repeated with the black fillagree necklace, and grey lace tights.

I wore this outfit when I was out with relatives the other evening. My husband’s parents and sister came into town, and we took them to one of our favorite places, “Port City Club” where one can dock their boat and come to eat. Well, I just had to leave my boat at home, as it just wasn’t ready for 40 degree weather. (PS. I have no boat!)

So, as I look in my closet,I am adding pieces here and there for spring, as this week the weather is getting downright balmy!

    Hi Jess, I have to comment again on your Chaos bracelet. I just think it is so unique and the color is perfect on you. Also, love you in your over-the knee black boots.
