How to Style a Floral Blazer

It’s no secret I love a great structured blazer. But today, it’s about how to style this floral blazer from Ann Taylor.

Florals

I have a couple of floral blazers, this being my newest acquisition from Poshmark. It looked new, and I was fixating on these colors for a while, as I found this last year, but revisited it this year.  I’ve worn it several ways since then, and thought I would share those if you had trouble knowing how to style a floral blazer.

If the flowers aren’t quite out yet where you live, why not through on a floral piece of clothing! The Crepe Mertl trees are blooming where we live, and I usually make a run to the nursery and Lowes for flowers later in the month.

So. in the meantime, I’ll share some ideas for wearing that floral piece you may have had your eye on, or that is in your closet.

How to Style A Floral Blazer

You can’t beat a floral blazer with a denim skirt. Denim skirts are big this year, and regardless, they are a great staple to have in your wardrobe, as like jeans, they go with everything. I styled this blazer with a denim skirt here, in my favorite button-down style.

You could certainly pair this with jeans, a light wash pair would look fabulous. Try one of the newer cuts for a modern, fresh take, like the wide leg jeans I SHARED IN THIS POST, or a straight leg style Since the jacket is a bit more fitted, a looser style of denim would go well and look stylish. Since I bought this on Poshmark, I am linking other floral blazers that I think you might love. This one, by Ted Baker is gorgeous!

Wear this blazer over a slip dress. Slip dresses and silk midi skirts aren’t going away anytime soon, so pair this with a solid slip dress. I actually bought this to wear on our Valentine’s Day outing and paired it with a red midi length slip dress. I really liked the look.

Tailored trousers are another option. Bold colors are trending this Spring so perhaps a pair of red trousers or pale pink to complement the look. If you think it looks to “work outfit”, then modernize it with a pair of fashionable sneakers. (white ones would look great).

I’ll be sharing this bag in tomorrow’s post. Teddy Blake sent it to me, and I love the nude pink color for Spring.

Do you have a floral blazer? I’d love to hear how you style it!

Have a great day!

jess xx

That floral blazer is unique and works well for spring. I love the way it is styled with denim. I love the best thing about stylish people is we are postive and we don’t pick clicks or try and only boost up specific people. That is something I love about these chic communities. I for one love everyone’s unique styles and take on trends for the season. Check out my latest post on Donna Karan’s take on orange for spring. Take care all the best xx https://www.bauchlefashion.com/2023/03/donna-karans-spring-selection-orange-is.html

Very cute look! I love the blazer and the skirt with it! I also love the cut of the blazer. So many are oversized these days which I think is harder to style!
    Peace!

Gorgeous blazer! I don’t have a floral one right now, but they are a wonderful piece for transitioning to spring.

I don’t own any floral blazers yet, but you know me and my love of a good blazer! I like this one with your denim skirt, so smart casual. Love the TB too – great color!
