How to Style a White Linen Dress

I’ve gone a bit bonkers this season, buying more linen to add to my Summer collection. I just love to wear it and despite stepping out of my house and dripping in sweat 10 minutes later. So, linen it is!

This is not a new dress, I bought it last summer and it is serving me well.  I styled a linen dress last week, and shared how to add accessories to elevate the look in the summer in THIS POST, and IN THIS REEL. ( I am also now on Like to Know it)

I am a fan of shirt dresses, and this one had the  hankerchief hem that made the dress stand out a bit more. I wanted pops of bright color – as I have shown some linen dresses with more of a neutral palette and accessories.

The bright floral scarf is from H&M, and there are a few prints you might like. The Talbots straw bag with orange leather is rather timely, as orange is one hot color this summer! Both my toes and nails have varying shades as well.

The pop of orange continued with these dangling earrings that are ages old from Charming Charlie. I kept the shoes neutral, and I am wearing Sarah Flint block heel here .

Family Time

I will be spending this week with my family, as my brother from Hoboken and his family ( 1 niece, 1 nephew) visit and stay with my other brother and sister in law. We plan on cooking out, using the pool, going out to dinner, renting a boat, and things of that nature. I am looking for a bit of change, and will enjoy all the company and activities ! My mom is down here, so we will be getting together as she is staying until August.

This one by Kate Spade is lovely as well.

    Stunning. I think I use that adjective every time!! But it is so accurate. What a perfect summer dress. I actually started reading about your Poshmark Zara white dress and then wound up over here for this look. I love them both so much. I think you have a terrific white shirt dress, too. Or maybe I am thinking of the linen dress here. I have tried to find a white shirt dress with no luck. But you have encouraged me to start looking again.

    Perfectly styled, both dresses. Love the delicate scarf with this dress and the bold orange purses. But I also like the simplicity of the neutral accessories in the other Zara dress.

    Hope you have the very best time with the fam on vacation. Glad your mom is tagging along. Sleep late, enjoy the water, eating out, the family and making all those memories.

      Thank you Leslie, yes I have a few white or cream colored dresses and do like a shirtdress. I like to mix it up color and neutrals. We had a great time over this week! I am playing catch up with blogs as they stayed the week and my mom is here until Aug. It was fun having us all together.
