07 Dec I Love My Pets – Holiday Gift Guide for Pets

Hello Friends!

Well by now, you have read about my little teddy bears, Gibson and Truffles. who are Shih Tzus aged 7 and 9 and the other loves of my life. I have always loved dogs, we had them growing up. There was Buttercup, a mixed bread, blond/tan mid sized pup, and Shadow, a tiny black little mixed breed who I fell in love with instantly when I was 7.  I thought since there are so many of you with pets, it would be fun to put together a Gift Guide for your pets this time of year.

I Love My Pets

I get excited giving gifts this time of year. I always have. I look for items to get my little pups, and it is relatively easy, as Truffles loves plush toys, GIbson is stuck on his squeaky Zannie balls. We have dog stockings ( that look like dog faces) and I put the toys in there with treats and raw hides. They love it, and will stick their head in the stocking for good fun on Christmas Day! Trust me, it is a form of entertainment!

These are just a few pictures of my angels. Gibby is a momma’s boy, and Truffles has so much energy, even at the age of 9. She runs around with her toys and flies from one room to the next first thing in the morning.

I wrote before about How Having a Dog Has Changed My Life, and they truly have. I smile more. They bring me such joy and happiness. They have been a Godsend, as when I was the worst with my disease, they helped my anxiety, to calm me down, and to just be there for me.

My Truffles LOVES her plush squirrels and tree, they are squirrels that squeek and she has to put them back in the tree. I then bought her, each year for Christmas: bees in a hive, birds in a house, and mice in some cheese. She will run after them all afternoon if you let her.

My brother a few years ago, bought his French Bulldog, Jack a “Furbo”, which is an electronic device with a camera allowing you to see your dog and give it treats! It spits out treats!

My boy Gibson, loves these squeaky balls called, Zannie Balls, and he will fetch them, play with them, hide them in towels, and also catch them in his mouth, These are his favorite toys!

I’ve included a variety of things from rhinestone collars, to jackets, beds, treats and toys.

I want this tee shirt, as I am happy as a dog mom and i enjoy a glass of wine 🙂
