By now my readers know how much I love Jambu shoes. The memory foam footbeds and all-terrain make them so easy to walk in and very cushiony! A requirement for me nowadays! The Roma bootie is the gorgeous leather bootie I had chosen from the Fall 2019 Jambu Collection.
Jambu booties and My Outfit
Since standing for periods of time is a real challenge with EDS, it does help to not only have a cushioned footbed made of memory foam, but a lower block heel. These are just over 2 inches tall and just perfect!
The all-terrain footbed and the memory foam can’t be beat, and it really feels like you are wearing sneakers. You all know I am a big fan of Jambu, as I have worked with them for over 3 years and can attest to the quality and comfort! The Roma boots come in black and whiskey and I love the leaf pattern on the side, just a perfect design for Fall. The elastic at the side of the boots make them easy to put on, and Jambu does recommend going up a half size from your normal shoe size. I am wearing an 8.5 here.
The color is luscious! I chose to wear them with my Loft denim skirt and plaid blouse from Universal Threads/Target. I love the rust/burgundy plaid colors and often think of plaid with denim. My hubby used to always wear his plaid flannel shirts with jeans in the Fall and Winer in Pittsburgh. This blouson styled blouse is a bit more elegant and stylish than flannel but has that plaid button-down feel we love for Fall. I am wearing an XS, which is my size in tops from Target. I would say it is true to size.
This denim skirt is perfect for Fall when the weather is still a bit hot and humid. I just had to wear booties though. The copper leaves are a special memory. This was one of the years my hubby and I went to Charleston, when my pain was still not controlled as it should be. Somehow, I made it into a small shop with handmade jewelry. Despite how I was feeling, I was able to buy these copper hand made leaf earrings as a memento. I love buying unique handmade jewelry when I am on a trip.
We went to see “Judy” with Renee Zellwegger playing Judy Garland, over the weekend, and I enjoyed this biopic pic. It did take a bit of a “magic” away, as the Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie as a child. I was surprised to read at the end that she had died at the age of 47, as I always envisioned her as older. Sunday we took my friend out for her birthday, at La Belle Helene, a French restaurant which serves a tasty brunch. My hair was also due for a touchup.
