Lemon Print Top with White Denim Skirt

What is it about fruit prints that screams summer?

My lemon earrings from Ann Taylor I bought last year.

Outfit

Let’s face it, by the time Spring and Summer roll around I am dying for some good fruit! We have many Farmer’s Markets to go to , and of course our favorite fruit stand. Comfort food is great in the Winter, but I do miss fresh fruit.

The fruit stand we go to has THE best cantaloupe. Juicy, ripe and delicious. I buy the seedless watermelon and eat it myself, as my hubby has allergies. Then their are the Southern Peaches. Mmm, mmm.

So, of course I am going to enjoy fruity fashions! Boden last year had a darling lemon shirt dress that I stalked for awhile but was unable to get in my size. I now have a few camisoles and tanks in the lemon print and this one was from H&M last year. It has shirring on the back, making it more comfortable as well. I love the look of yellow and white, very fresh, so I styled it with my white denim skirt from NYDJ for summer. Here was an outfit with lemons in yellow and white I styled last year.

My Sarah Flint sandals have been worn frequently, as they are so cushiony and I love the neutral shade that goes with anything. A pair of yellow espadrilles would have been sweet too!

Id like a peaches blouse or top, as I am now from the South, after living here for 18 years!

I’ve linked up at the bottom,  a few lemon tops, but was unable to find the same one from H&M. They are darling as well.

I also linked some Etsy peach prints, as I thought they would be sweet in the kitchen!

What are your favorite fruit prints? What are your favorite summer fruits?

Love the subtleness of the lemon print top. Some I have seen are over the top. The white demin skirt is awsome.

    Hello Jess,
A lemon print is timeless, it reminds me of Tuscany and its nostalgic. I think that is my favorite of all the fruits. This top looks very pretty on you and you’ve coordinated it well with your straw bag too.

Thats sounds delicious! I do enjoy watermelon and love when it is so juicy and cold. That is neat you are growing catelopue. I just started growing tomatoes this year and there are some on the vine. Enjoy your week as well Lindy!

A peach top would be cute! I love when the lemon theme comes around. I never really know if it falls into Spring or Summer, but nonetheless – this is a great outfit!

I love your top! I have a lemon print dress from H&M which I’ve been wearing a lot lately. I’m a big fan of fruit prints and have peach and cherry print dresses too. I’ve got my eye on a pineapple print too! Hope you’re having a great week so far!

I enjoy going to the farmer’s market this time of year, too! My favorite is juicy tomatoes. This top is so cute and I love the front and how the back side is shirred. So cute! I do a lemon theme in my kitchen in the summer.

Jess, lemons add a sunny and fresh appeal to a summer look. I like how you styled the top and the lemon earrings was a cute touch. Somehow, my wardrobe is deficient in the fruit department except for my sparkly pineapple top.
