17 Aug Linen Tee with White Eyelet Cropped Jeans
Hello Ladies!
I hope you enjoyed the weekend and did something for yourself to bring you joy.
I am sharing a casual look today for those hot days we get in the South, wearing a linen tee from Mango and white cropped eyelet jeans from Chicos.
Notice the half tuck 🙂
Outfit
My hair gets kinda frizzy some days so I will use a Kerestase hair mask once a week or so. I just got my hair colored about 10 days ago, so the lighting is making it a bit lighter than it actually is. My stylist leaves out lighter pieces of hair for more dimension, rather than highlighting it. I get face framing layers and have a bit of layering cut into the back of my hair. As soon as I head outside, as of late, my hair falls… so hairspray to the rescue, for photos at least!
My therapist ( dry needling PT) had on a few different linen tees over the past few weeks and they looks cute and comfortable in this August Southern heat. I looked at the sale from Mango ( 50-70% off) and bought this paler blush pink linen tee, as I loved the color and this was the only one they had in an XS. The white, tan and brown sold out in that size. I’ve been wanting to add a bit more pink to the closet anyway.
Lately, I am waiting for Fall clothes to pop up and for the Nordstrom sale. I only have my eye on about 2 things.
So, I did buy a few linen blouses and tops for this summer to go with my existing wardrobe.
The white Girlfriend jeans are from Chicos as I was gifted this pair a few years ago. I love the eyelet at the bottom. Those details always catch my eye. The blush pink top and earrings have a undertone of brown, so the gold jewelry works so well with this outfit.
Weekend
We had a nice weekend with a jaunt to The Cottage to sit by the lake, have charcutarie and white wine and good conversation. Saturday it rained all day, so some plans were changed to Sunday We went with my sister and niece out to Brunch at
On the Nines, a country club open to the public. Oh it was so good!
Love the eyelet design.
and… HOW AM I FEELING ON CERTAIN DAYS?… ( CLICK ON THE VIDEO BELOW) 🙂 turn the volume up on your computer.;
Some days you gotta laugh!
Really, though, if you want to catch up with some things I am doing lately, read the post Life Lately.

Posted at 08:21h, 24 AugustJess, these eyelet jeans are the cutest! And I love that pretty peach shade on you. I just rediscovered a pile of linen tee shirts as I was doing my basement clean out. I have kept those aside to wear again. I am trying my very hardest to refrain from shopping for anything until I get this whole closet mess completely in order. Which could take a year or two, I suspect! Haha. Thanks for linking up!

Posted at 13:18h, 18 AugustThose eyelet edged jeans are just adorable! I love it! Another great look, Jess! Your outfit is so light and summery. I have the opposite hair woes. My hair is wavy. In humid conditions, I get some lovely natural curls. Here in the desert, my hair has waves, but no curls. And honestly, I’m too lazy to add them myself. LOL!
I have a linky party on Thursdays dedicated Creative Compulsions. Fashion posts are most welcome!

Posted at 05:03h, 17 AugustPretty outfit Jess – linen does feel so much cooler in this humid weather. The detail on the cuff of our pants is so pretty and I love those sandals! Brunch sounds fun – we went out to lunch yesterday and it was nice to get out. A change of scenery is good for the soul!
