Floral Blazer Styled : Reviewing Jambu Footwear Sugar Sandals

Ladies

I had to have a post just interjecting a bit of spring into the blog today. I am also reviewing Jambu. As you know, I am a former teacher. I taught Elementary Ed and Music Education. As a teacher it is my perogative to occasionally give “Pop Quizzes”. So, see how well you do! Before you looked at the title of my post, now, don’t go back and “cheat”:-)

Jambu is:

A. An African dance that was made into a new exercise program for 2016.

B. A delicious New Orlean’s Creole dish.

C. A Company that sells amazing footwear with exquisite comfort using memory foam technology.

Well, although I would be happy to review any of the answers, the correct answer is C! ( isn’t it always :-)) Jambu footwear contacted me to be one of the initial fashion bloggers to review shoes from  their Spring 2016 collection. Of course I was excited, as I am when it comes to choosing shoes. There is always some trepidation, however, because of my muscles issues in my legs and feet. I looked at the catalogue, and there were  quite a few shoes that I liked. There are the more casual pairs like the  Blossom Encore and Deep Sea   that would be great for a summer outing with shorts or a picnic, where one does not want to dress up but still look stylish. I love the Journey Encore especially in the many choices of colors, my favorite being red or  green. The  Sofia   shoes caught my eye with the T-strap, giving it a fun vintage inspired look, yet with a modern take in its metallic colors. I was tempted to choose this style, but found that the heel, although block, would be too high and the foot bed too sloped for my condition. Anyone without muscular problems, this would be one of my first choices.

My eyes were immediately drawn to the gladiator style sandals that are so “on trend” each year. Even though I follow trends, I do not always find them fitting my style. In this case, I loved the supportive chunky wedge style heel and although it was higher than I normally wear, the cushioned memory foam foot bed along with the slight slope of the shoe made it very comfortable for me to wear. I was initially afraid the shoe height would be too high and cause leg pain, but when I put the shoes on, I found them to be as comfortable as my sneakers, and easy to walk in.  The tricky part was picking the style. At first I went with the Brookline, which I loved, especially the champagne almost pale pink shimmery color. Then I decided upon the Sugar,as the shoe profile was lower, making the straps hit around my ankle, and I felt, my legs more attractive. The Brookline is also a gorgeous shoe, more like a boot as it comes up higher on the leg. It all depends on one’s preference and taste. I also loved the details of the zip up the back and must reiterate the comfort. If you are a sneaker-wearer, you can find the same level of comfort with Jambu’s shoes.

I am quite happy with the shoes, as both style and comfort are most important to me. I was thrilled to be able to wear a shoe with some height and also such comfort. So, if you are looking for a variety of styles, and supreme comfort for spring shoes and sandals, look at Jambu Footwear. I was very pleased that they contacted me! I wasn’t sure I could wear the shoes but they turned out to be comfortable heels.

To read more about the company, Jambu and also their shoe technology, click HERE. They state “Jambu-Life’s a Journey”, and I think we can all attest to that. We need to enjoy the ride.

Jambu Footwear offers a wide variety of shoes and sandals for women, men and children. They sell boots, booties, casual shoes as I have shown here, sandals, as well as shoes are for the trail and water .

Your entire outfit looks good enough to eat, Jess, for real. Sugar and spice, and all things immediately leapt to mind when I saw the covershot. I’m really head over heels in love with your blazer, incidentally, I love a good profusion of florals xoxo
