15 Nov MetroStyle-Monochromatic Rust Colored Look with Leopard Booties
Who doesn’t love Leopard? Well, I have been looking for a pair of leopard booties now for awhile now, and finally found a pair with a lower heel at MetroStyle. Let me introduce you to Metrostyle. Metrostyle is a company that is fashion forward, appeals to women over 40, who want to keep up with the trends and current fashions. As the holiday’s draw near, everyone has a certain budget that they are looking to spend, and whether you are looking for a pair of these booties for yourself or for another person in your family, they are quite affordable. They offer clothing sizes in Tall, Misses, Petite and Plus.
I was thrilled when Metrostyle asked me to choose from their catalogue on-line. I was looking through the boot section, and came across these low profile, leopard booties. I wanted a low heel and well-construction to a bootie, a great fit. I love the selection of colors-olive green, tan, burgundy, leopard and black. They have a side zip which makes them easy to take on and off, and as I mentioned the low heel makes them easy to wear and walk in for an afternoon of shopping or just going out. I am pairing these with my faux leather pants today, but would certainly wear these with tights and a sweater dress, jeans, or a skirt for the fall.
Although the booties were the first piece to my outfit, I knew, as a neutral print ( leopard) that I could mix them with almost anything I had in my mind the plan on incorporating different textures: lace, faux-leather, and the trendy velvet. This is one of the best ways to break up a monochromatic look. Another way is by adding a pattern in the shoes or/and handbag. I went with leopard looks in both the booties and clutch. The rust color appeared in this velvet jacket from Anthropologie, faux leather pants and ruffled lacy blouse. My gold brooch is from my vintage brooch collection.
`There is not shortage of velvet in my closet! I told you. This rust blazer would also be lovely color paired with any fall shade such as olive, brown, black, burgundy, mustard. I do 98% of my shopping on-line. Metrostyle makes it easy to shop on-line and why not make Holiday shopping easier on yourself? Please check out Metrostyle and let me know what you would choose for fall or as a Holiday gift in the comments.
