10 Apr Nature’s Palette- Wearing the Pink and Green Color Combination
I love the look of pink and green this Spring. A combination you can find now everywhere.
I hope you all had a Blessed Easter and enjoyed the day with family. We went to my brother’s house and enjoyed the day with brunch after Mass. I always reminisce about how we celebrated the Easter Holiday when growing up. I am missing our traditional perogies and fish meal, as well as the baked Paska ( a Ukrainian bread). It is nice, however that we live close enough that we can get together now.
Nature’s Palette- Pink and Green
When I think of a pink and green combination for Spring, I think of my roses in the garden. Pink fresh blooming roses with their stems and leaves, certainly can inspire this look. Green is the color of nature in the Spring, when things come to life and flowers bloom.
Our wardrobe choices can reflect this as well. Maybe you wear more neutrals in the Winter, maybe it’s time to bring out these fresh colors.
This soft floral print pencil skirt is ages old from Ann Taylor, and if you are looking for the exact skirt, I would try Ebay or Poshmark for your size. I paired it with my pine green cardigan and decided to use the trick of wearing it backwards with the button detail in the back. If you haven’t tried that, give it a go, and see what you think!
This color combination won fashionista’s hearts last year and has made a reappearance this year as well. Since this “vivid magenta” or hot pink has been the color of the year in 2023, there are many retailers selling this bright pink shade. Green is also a staple this season, so putting together an outfit with combination shouldn’t be hard to find.
If you want a more subtle look, try an all green or an all-pink look, and add the opposite in accessories. Wear a pink blazer with linen matching trousers, add a pink tank. Then add a green pair of sandals and cute green bag. Accessories are always a great way to add a color contrast. I’ve linked up pieces below for you to shop.
Loving these linen trousers for Spring and Summer!
If you style both pink and green pieces in the look, like I have done here, make the shoes neutral for the colors to take center stage.
Try a hot pink top with some wide or straight leg denim and add a green sandal. Reverse the look. Wear a kelly green with denim and add some pink accessories! There are alot of options!
A blogger’s trick – wearing my cardigan sweater backwards. I first saw this on Jodie’s blog.
My lipstick is MAC Girl About Town. It isn’t made anymore, so the dupe for considerably less is this Milani lipstick shade.
This one is also a similar shade and is very moisturizing.

Posted at 08:39h, 11 AprilI am making cheese pascha today with my friend and instead of making the bread kind, I will be picking up a challah bread to spread it on. I found the combo to be very yummy and it to be less dry than some of the traditional Easter Pascha bread. Love this pretty spring color combo!
