02 Dec Neutral Look with Leopard Accents
Good Morning! It’s December…
By the pictures here, you can probably tell it a bit late and chilly. Usually, when I take photos it is in the early afternoon, but here we couldn’t make it out until around 4:30 or so. The lighting is a bit grey-blue, so I do my best in post-processing to make it warmer. Speaking of being warm, its all about staying cozy and comfortable in layers and neutrals today. I’ll be sharing a Holiday outfit with you tomorrow and throughout the month as well.
Weekend
I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday! My sis and niece joined us and I was thrilled to be the host. She brings the vino, my hubby and I cooked. Along with my family, my niece’s puppies paid a visit! They are so darling! They are a boy and girl two year old Pomeranians, and it was a flurry of doggy activity that day. Gibson, my shadow, found love. Cassie, the mostly white Pom, caught Gibby’s eye and he followed her around all night. It was so cute and funny at the same time! He does have his “type”!
Did you go crazy on Black Friday? I love how it has turned out to be Black Friday, Sat, Sun, Cyber Monday. that will probably extend. I don’t venture out of my house as I had the experience of people running into me, without manners, and it wasn’t the feeling that I wanted to have during the Christmas season. Nothing I would want so badly…
On another note, I’ve been procrastinating a bit wrapping gifts but will get on the ball this week. We did put up the Christmas decor and the tree, so arranging ornaments and wrapping gifts are on the agenda this week.
Outfit
The outfit really started with my cargo pants. I have had these from Loft for about 5 years and they are so comfortable! I decided to add brown tones to the look and styled my light brown turtleneck with my caramel-colored faux leather moto jacket. It is a thick jacket that really does feel like leather. Leopard print always adds a classic vibe to the look, so my teardrop animal print earrings and booties were the choice. Snce I wanted to add a bit of rich color that was complimentary, I went with my plum leather Treesje bag
