Neutrals and Faux Leather

As I wrote about in last Friday’s post, faux leather and leather are trending this Fall 2020. I styled my faux leather pencil skirt with neutrals for this look.

I feel more back to myself today and was so ready to get out this weekend! We did visit our local vineyard this Saturday and enjoyed a bottle of Cabernet Franc between hubby, mom and I, while sitting in the sun, in our layers, as it dipped into the low 60s. I had been looking at the 4 walls for most of 3 weeks, between feeling bad, the ER, and my surgery, so I was so ready for a change in scenery!

I love a warm neutral look for Fall, and this sweater with a cowl neck can be worn both off and on the shoulder. Since it was a bit chilly this weekend, I styled it with on the shoulder with my black faux pencil skirt that was begging to come out from my closet. Pair a warm Fall toned sweater with a faux leather piece and add some textures or patterns for a more interesting look.

I added a pattern by wearing my textured black tights, and leopard Zara booties. What I love about Fall is the ability to mix textures, patterns, and fabrics for a more luxe/rich look.

Are you a fan of faux leather? What pieces are you adding to your closet?

You can’t go wrong with this combo! The leggings with the leopard booties add a bit of sass to it, too. Love it!

Fall is always the most suitable time to wear faux leather, I suppose! Just can not wait to go shopping!
