16 Oct Fall Trends 2020 – Which Would You Wear?
As the weather gets more brisk, I always love to see what trends I can add to my closet for the season. Are you one who buys trends? Where do you shop for them? I know other ladies who will buy at less expensive places to add a trend or two to their closets, as they don’t always see them as lasting. I beg to differ with some of these trends being great pieces to add to your closet anyway. I’ve included several links to share older posts where I am wearing some of these trends.
Knit Separates –
Remember the 1950s twin set? The soft knit shell and shorter buttoned cardigan that would go with it? Well, it has been given an updated modern look for 2020 and I am seeing them everywhere. I kind of laugh at the shorts or wool underwear as I call it, but , hey, if it’s about lounging around the house, I would wear em ๐ . Iย love the cardigan/knit tank they are showing as pairs, and I can see how they would be great serparately as well. Take the tank and wear it over a button down blouse. There, it acts as a kind of knit vest.
I love the knit sweater above, but would only wear these knit shorts ( undies) in the house with a roaring fire in the living room. LOL.
This set is also Zara, and I would love to wear this with a high waisted leather skirt for Fall.
Faux leather/leather-
Since faux leather’s popularity, I Have been a fan. I had a pair of faux leather pants, back in the day and loved to dress them up for nigh. In my closet, I now have many faux leather pieces that are great staples to add to your closet for Fall. From faux leather leggings, to pencil skirts and blazers, I am a fan. It all comes down to the quality of the piece. I love a more substantial thicker quality, as it lends itself to a more leather-like look.
Older post wearing my faux leather leggings
Above, leather and faux leather blazers are big this Fall. Great with trousers, jeans, skirts, dresses, you can style them with anything. This blazer, I linked up from BLANKNYC, and it is a faux-leather one. I am wearing an XS or size 2, going down a size
Slouchy Boots
I don’t know why, but slouchy boots almost remind me of leg warmers. Remember bunching your legwarmers to keep warm. They can create a very stylish modern look, if you like this style.
Plaids
Plaid, tartan, buffalo plaid, there are a lot of plaid prints out there and are always a favorite Fall staple of mine. I love Fall colors in a plaid blazer, adding a feminine cami underneath with jeans. An easy and put together look! Plaid is showing in dresses, sweaters, jackets, and pants these days.

Fringe
I think Fringe is one of those things you either love or hate. Maybe there is a middle ground? Fringe is showing on coats, sweaters, and was always big on Boho bags. Are you a fringe fan?
My favorite in this mix are the faux-leather and plaid, and I would like to try the knit pieces.
Which would you wear of these Fall 2020 Trends?
Enjoy shopping!
Have a great weekend!

Posted at 14:23h, 17 OctoberWell if I had the flat tummy to show off, I would wear that short white knit tank with the leather jacket over top.
But I like the plaid jacket too. Decisions decisions.

Posted at 05:01h, 16 OctoberI think the only trend I’m not too crazy about for myself is the slouchy boots. Maybe it depends on just how slouchy they are but I’m not sure I’ll be investing in that trend. Hope you have a great weekend my friend!
